Elden Ring PS5 update 1.009.001 is available to download. According to the official Elden Ring 1.009.001 patch notes, the latest resolves an issue where the Skill Contagious Fury from the Jellyfish Shield kept increasing attack power when unequipping the shield or switching to a different weapon. Apart from this, today’s Elden Ring patch 1.009.001 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a major Elden Ring update 1.08 added new changes, adjustments, and improvements. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues with the game. Elden Ring version 1.009.001 will fix a few of these issues.

Elden Ring 1.009.001 Patch Notes – April 18, 2023
- Addressed an issue where the effects of some Skills, Incantations, Items and Weapons that increased attack power were not applied to Spells and Incantations.
- Addressed an issue where the Skill Contagious Fury from the Jellyfish Shield kept increasing attack power when unequipping the shield or switching to a different weapon.
- Decreased the poise damage of the Cursed-Blood Slice Skill.
