EA Sports WRC Update 2.002 Patch Notes (Patch 2.2)

EA Sports WRC update 2.002 (version 2.002.000) is now rolling out for PS4, PC, Xbox, and PS5 players. According to the official WRC 2.2.0 patch notes, the latest update introduces the Le Maestros Content Pack, featuring new rally stages, cars, liveries, and Moments. Apart from this, the EA Sports WRC patch 2.002 also includes UI improvements, new player nationalities, and extended Rally Pass levels. Bug fixes address gamepad issues, map display, performance on Xbox Series, and various corner-cutting exploits.

Previously, a major update added various quality-of-life changes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game. Today’s EA Sports WRC version 2.002 will fix a few of these issues.

New Livery Select Interface

We have refreshed the look and functionality of the livery selection screen when players choose a car to drive.

This new layout showcases designs with greater detail, while also making it easier to select liveries on cars with a large quantity of available designs.

Updated Homespace

We have refreshed the garage homespace of the game’s frontend menus with a fresh coat of paint, with the walls showcasing some of the newLe Maestroscars added to the game.

The game’s “splash screen” (which appears when you boot up the game) has also been updated with new artwork.

New Player Nationalities

We have added over 80 countries to the Driver Details menu, allowing more players from around the world to represent their nation in-game and on leaderboards.

The total number of selectable nationalities in the game is now above 170, covering the vast majority ofEA SPORTS™ WRCplayers.

New Rally Pass Levels & Rewards

We have extended the game’s Rally Pass, raising the level cap from 50 to 60.

In addition to this we have added 20 new livery editor decals as rewards, and rebalanced the XP earning rates and level requirements to account for the new level cap.
