EA FC 26 update 1.000.025 (patch 1.6) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official FC 26 version 1.000.025 patch notes, the latest update introduces The World’s Game tournament with 53 national teams, launches Festival of Football content featuring Tokens and Evolution Undo, adds Rivellino and Mario Kempes to Ultimate Team, rebalances Bruiser and Team Press gameplay, expands Career international content, and raises Clubs Archetype progression to level 95. Apart from this, FC 26 patch 1.000.025 also focus on Bruiser, Enforcer, Intercept, and Team Press mechanics. Clubs progression now extends to level 95 with additional PlayStyle options. Team Press

• Reduced AI pressure on ball carriers when Team Press is active in the defensive half.
• Prevented unnecessary AI double-teams when a user-controlled defender is already marking.
• Adjusted AI containment behavior for defenders positioned away from the ball.
• Reduced defensive marking tightness during Team Press in the defensive half.
• Marking now becomes looser as attackers move closer to goal.
• No changes applied to Team Press behavior in the attacking half.

Career

• Added the International Men’s Tournament to Career Mode.
• Added newly licensed national teams.

Intercept PlayStyle

• Players without the Intercept PlayStyle but with 90+ Interceptions can now access the same interception animations.

Team Press

• Reduced pressure applied to the ball carrier in the defensive half.
• AI defenders no longer double-team when the user-controlled defender is already marking the ball carrier.
• AI defenders now focus on containing the ball carrier when the user-controlled defender is farther away.
• Reduced marking tightness of AI opponents during Team Press in the defensive half.
• Team Press remains aggressive in the attacking half, including contextual double-teaming when appropriate.

Ultimate Team

• Added the option to remove Evolution Player Item upgrade progress.
