EA FC 26 Update 1.000.017 Patch Notes (patch 1.5.0) for PS5

EA FC 26 update 1.000.017 (patch 1.5) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official FC 26 version 1.000.017 patch notes, the latest update increased ground pass accuracy and speed, improved long-range Power Shot potential, enhanced Chip Shot accuracy, introduced Dynamic Development Plans in Career Mode, and raised the Clubs Consumable Level Cap to 60. Apart from this, FC 26 patch 1.000.017 also includes general stability fixes.

Gameplay Updates

Passing

• Improved ground pass accuracy and speed, especially for players with higher passing attributes.

• Players without the Incisive Pass PlayStyle can now perform contextual curved through balls if they have high Short Pass, Long Pass, and Curve attributes.

• Reduced lofted pass accuracy.

Power Shot

• Improved Power Shot trajectory, increasing scoring potential from long range.

• Increased Power Shot accuracy for players with Power Shot PlayStyle and PlayStyle+.

Chip Shot

• Chip Shots are now less likely to go wide.

• Overall Chip Shot accuracy increased.

• Players with the Chip Shot PlayStyle gain additional accuracy.

Tiki Taka PlayStyle

• Reduced ground and first-time pass accuracy with Tiki Taka to balance PlayStyle impact.

• Ground passes still benefit from the overall improvements to passing speed and accuracy.

Inventive PlayStyle

• Slightly increased accuracy of lofted ground and through passes with Inventive PlayStyle and PlayStyle+.

Skill Moves

• Increased animation speed by 5% for:

  • Feint and Exit

  • Heel Chop

  • Fake Shot

Attacking

• Fixed cases where an attacking player could remain stationary briefly.

Ultimate Team Updates

Pack Opening

• Special Rarity Player Items now appear before Gold Rarity Player Items during pack openings.

Fixes

• Fixed SBC storage search by ++ role proficiency returning no results.

• Fixed cases where EA Music opened when restarting a Moments Challenge.

• Fixed instances on PC where EA Music opened while searching the Transfer Market.

• Fixed EA Connect invites for Play with a Friend not functioning correctly.

Clubs Updates

Consumable Level Cap

• Increased maximum Consumable Level Cap from 50 to 60.

Career Mode Updates

New Content

• Season 6 introduces new ICONs in Player Career rotation:

• Additional ICONs planned for upcoming weeks.

Dynamic Development Plans

New Save Option

• Added Pitch Wear visual setting when creating a new save.

• Setting is disabled by default.

Contract Negotiation Improvements

• Improved contract extension behavior on the Normal setting.

• Players with less than one year remaining on their contract may already be open to negotiation when joining a new club.

• At the start of a season, around 50% of expiring contracts can enter negotiations.

• More players become open to negotiation near the end of the season when joining mid-season or using Live Starting Points.

Fixes

• Fixed objective progress not updating after completing the International Men’s Cup.

Stability Fixes

• Fixed multiple stability issues and EA Music / EA Connect related problems.

Previously, a major FC 26 update 1.000.005 added quality of life changes and tweaks. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been experiencing several issues with online gameplay. Today’s FC 26 version 1.000.017 will fix a few of these issues.
