EA FC 26 Update 1.000.015 Patch Notes (patch 1.4.2): Added Various Fixes

EA FC 26 update 1.000.015 (patch 1.4.2) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official FC 26 version 1.000.015 patch notes, the latest update refines goalkeeper behavior, rebalances knuckle-ball accuracy, and enhances Career Mode with contract settings, visual upgrades, and a Social Media panel. Apart from this, FC 26 patch 1.000.015 also addresses transfer handling, stamina recovery, league accuracy, and general stability. Numerous visual elements across the game have also been refreshed. Upcoming updates will add new Career Mode contract flexibility and enable Training Camp Evolutions directly in Ultimate Team.

FC 26 1.000.015 Patch Notes (patch 1.4.2) – February 3, 2026

Gameplay

Made the following updates:

• Addressed an issue where the goalkeeper could’ve deflected the ball too accurately during an anticipation save.

• Inaccurate knuckle ball shots could have occurred more often than intended.

Career Mode

Made the following changes:

• Added a new Contract Extension setting under Transfer & Scouting that enables you to choose how open players might be to contract extensions.

• Updated visuals and animations for scheduling loading screen.

• Added a new Social Media panel that surfaces active Challenge Objectives during challenge scenarios.

Addressed the following issues:

• After requesting a transfer, players could not have always been offered new contacts.

• In Live Start Points, women’s teams were unintentionally present in some leagues.

Clubs

• Goalkeepers were sometimes holding the ball for longer than intended when a pass was requested.

• Once emptied, short-term stamina could have previously only been recovered if players became idle.

General, Audio, and Visual

Made the following changes:

• Updated some badges, logos, hair, boots, star heads, lighting, kits, tattoos, 2D portraits, scarves, banners, cameras, button callouts, overlays and TIFOs

Addressed the following issues:

• Addressed various stability issues that could have occurred.

General Fixes

• Added online stability improvements.
• Added gameplay performance improvements.
• Resolved an issue preventing some players from connecting to the Companion App.
• Addressed an issue where the Future Stars Guarantee pack did not always contain a Future Stars Player Item. Impacted players will be contacted in-game with the corrected pack in the coming days.
• Fixed tracking for the “Score in 25” challenge in the Football Fanatics Week 2 Objective Group.
• Corrected TOTY ICON Totti Player Item attributes, adjusting Passing and Dribbling to intended levels.

Upcoming Changes

Career Mode

• A new Contract Extension setting will allow players to choose negotiation willingness when starting a new Career.

  • Normal: Factors such as playing time influence negotiations.

  • Lenient: Players are more open to signing extensions.

Ultimate Team

• Training Camp Evolutions will soon be launchable directly in Ultimate Team, alongside continued access via the Companion App.

Previously, a major FC 26 update 1.000.005 added quality of life changes and tweaks. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been experiencing several issues with online gameplay. Today’s FC 26 version 1.000.015 will fix a few of these issues.
