According to the official FC 26 version 1.000.013 patch notes, AI defending reactions slow down to open attacking space, CPU Squad Battles play becomes more proactive, more players gain Lengthy acceleration, and defensive reliability improves. Classic XI teams and holiday menu refresh arrive via server release. Apart from this, FC 26 patch 1.000.013 also adds a New Release hub and several fixes, while Career Mode, Clubs, and PC versions receive improvements and fixes.

AI Defending

• Reduced AI defender reaction times when marking ball carriers, creating more open space during transitions.

• Intended to support freer, more fluid attacking movement.

Gameplay

General Adjustments

• Squad Battles CPU AI tuned to be more proactive and attack-focused, reducing low-pressure possession phases.

• Updated height thresholds for Acceleration Types, increasing the number of Lengthy players.

  • Men: minimum 185 cm

  • Women: minimum 165 cm

  • Other Lengthy requirements unchanged.

• Goal-line defenders can perform automatic clearances only in last-ditch scenarios.

• Shoulder challenges now favor players with significantly higher Strength; stronger and more aggressive players shield more effectively.

• Reduced accuracy of acrobatic shots executed immediately after flicks.
