Dynasty Warriors Origins version 1.002 (1.002.000) is rolling out on PS5, PC(1.0.0.3) and Xbox(1.0.0.5). According to the official Dynasty Warriors Origins game update 1.002 patch notes, the latest update enhances Call Horse functionality, improves visibility with the new Helpful option, increases camera speed, and refines UI interactions. Apart from this, DW Origins update 1.002 update also includes stability fixes.

New Features & Adjustments
Call Horse Improvements
- Added Call Horse Response Time setting:
- Default: Horse responds instantly when pressing the button.
- Hold: Horse responds after holding the button for a set duration.
- Call Horse function can now be assigned to touchpad buttons.
- Adjusted controls so that when Call Horse is set to the down or touchpad button and lock-on is set to R3, pressing L3 + R3 will still activate Rage.
Display Enhancements
- Highlight Officers setting now includes a Helpful option, improving player visibility on the battlefield.
Control & UI Adjustments
- Max camera rotation speed increased from 99 to 199.
- PS5 controller button labels updated to match console standards.
- Pressing confirm during the cutscene after a defeat now instantly brings up the restart menu.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed minor bugs for improved gameplay stability.
Dynasty Warriors Origins update 1.002.000 is now available for download on PlayStation 5, PC(Steam) and Xbox Series X/S.
