According to the official Dying Light 2 version 1.89 patch notes, the latest update brings heightened containment efforts as Week 3 of the Outbreak begins, following the successful clearing of four regions in Week 2. Ongoing relief bonuses remain active, a full stamina boost is granted to all runners, and new infection fronts emerge across the city. With Horizon Village nearing collapse, players must regroup, claim rewards, and prepare for the next objectives. Additionally, Dying Light 2 patch 1.89 also includes general stability and gameplay performance improvements.
