Dying Light 2 update 1.88 Patch Notes on February 17, 2026

Dying Light 2 update 1.88 (v1.27.1) is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Dying Light 2 version 1.88 patch notes, the latest update removes DX11 stuttering, fixing gameplay inconsistencies such as bounty enemy counts and blueprint-less weapon sales. Additionally, Dying Light 2 patch 1.88 also resolves several visual, animation, and environmental glitches including missing shadows, metal reflection artifacts, and rain appearing indoors during key story moments.

Stability & Performance

  • Fixed stuttering occurring on DX11.

  • Repaired broken voxels on old-gen consoles.

Gameplay Fixes

  • Corrected an issue allowing certain bundle weapons to be sold to vendors without owning their blueprints.

  • Fixed enemies not being counted properly toward bounty objectives.

  • Adjusted Aiden’s hand position to prevent clipping through katana guards when stamina is depleted.

  • Stopped Aiden’s repeated infection breath from triggering while moving in specific interiors.

UI & Connectivity

  • Fixed “Connection info” pop-up displaying only during the first network connection loss.

Visual & Environmental

  • Restored missing shadow for the Black Hand’s bundle pistol.

  • Removed graphical artifacts appearing on metal edge reflections.

  • Fixed indoor rain appearing during cutscenes in Frank’s room in “A Place to Call Home” and during the first meeting with Veronika.

Previously, a major Dying Light 2 update 1.74(v1.23) added Winter Tales: Gifts from Above 2024 event with festive fun and rewards to Villedor. The upcoming Dying Light 2 patch 1.88 will fix the remaining issues.
