The latest Dredge update 1.2.0 details released for PC, PS4(version 1.03) and Switch. According to the official Dredge patch notes, the latest update adds new photo mode, passive mode, new settings, and adjustments. Furthermore, the Dredge patch 1.2.0 also includes improvements for the speedrunning community, such as fixing the Haste activation SFX and reporting values to an Autosplitter.
Since the previous major Dredge update 1.11, players encountered several glitches, including a black screen, sprint bug, high temperature, and audio issues, after installing the Dredge patch. Today’s Dredge update 1.2.0 aims to fix some of these problems.

Features:
- Added Photo Mode: Unlockable by assisting The Photographer on a new island.
- Added Passive Mode: Activate in the Settings menu to be safe from deep-sea creatures.
- Added 10 new aberrations: Introducing 8 new types of wildlife and an unusual shallow-water creature.
- Added new settings: V-sync Pause In Background, Camera Follow Mode, Spyglass Sensitivity, and Haste VFX adjustment.
Adjustments:
- General tab added to Settings with some options rearranged.
- Additional names added to the credits.
- Dolphin SFX updated.
- Discouraged dolphins and certain events from swimming over the abyss in Stellar Basin.
Fixes:
- Corrected the display issue with the Crab Pot / Trawl Net information panel.
- Fixed game freezing when downgrading a trawl net to a smaller capacity net.
- Addressed issues with discarding The Mayor’s package and incorrect culling of an island in Devil’s Spine.
- Resolved localization problems.
