Dragon’s Dogma 2 update 2.010 details released for PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Dragon’s Dogma 2 version 2.010.000 patch notes, the latest update introduces Casual Mode, balances vocations, adds new items and locations. Apart from this, Dragon’s Dogma 2 patch 2.010 also fixes numerous player, Pawns, NPC, and quest bugs while improving performance and reducing crashes.

Added Features and Adjustments
Introduced Casual Mode.
Inn fees reduced.
Ferrystone prices lowered.
Decreased chance for the player to become “Heavy” or “Very Heavy.”
Lower Stamina usage while dashing outside combat.
Loss gauge remains unaffected when selecting “Load from Last Save” after the Arisen dies.
Pawns can recover from dragonsplague without a catastrophic event, even in terminal stages.
Added a Portcrystal to Bakbattahl.
New tradeable items with the Dragonforged: “Sovran’s Crown,” “Sovran’s Plate,” and “Sovran’s Greaves.”
New idle animations for Pawns.
Added dashing animations for Pawns and the Arisen.
New animation for Arisen when riding large, fast-flying enemies.
Main Pawn can now be revived infinitely at Forgotten Riftstones.
Added Polski (Polish) under Display Language in the Options menu.
Fixes for CPU overload issues in certain situations.

Fighter
Increased Strength for all weapons.
Reduced stagger time for Defend and faster charge time for Tusk Toss.
Lock-on now switches targets if the original is defeated.
Increased Knockdown Power for Shield Bash and downed enemy duration.
Better targeting for Blink Strike and faster Compass Slash attack speed.
Airward Slash: expanded range, more Knockdown Power.
Improved speed and accuracy for Gouging Skewer.
Warrior
Extended input duration for Chain of Blows.
Reduced cancellation window for Barge after activation.
Increased Strength for Arc of Might.
Improved timing and targeting for Savage Lash.
Archer
Faster charge time and increased Strength/Knockdown Power for Dire Arrow.
Increased damage for Heavenly Shot.
Increased damage scaling for bow attacks, especially weak points.
Reduced weight for special arrows (Explosive, Drenching, Tarring, Blighting).
Mage
Increased Silence duration for Solemnity.
Increased range for Flagration flames.

Extended health recovery effect for Argent Succor.
Stronger additional lightning strikes with Levin.
Thief
Stamina consumed by Blades of the Pyre now scales with maximum stamina.
Mystic Spearhand

Player
Fixed issues with awkward camera movements, enchantments, button mapping, and the Arisen getting stuck or failing to revive in specific situations.
Addressed several clipping issues and unintended stamina recovery rates.
Pawns
Resolved issues with Pawns‘ behavior, such as immobility, odd arrow-firing patterns, and combat responsiveness.
Fixed visual problems related to the Main Pawn’s eyeshadow and Maelstrom spell divergence.
Improved Pawns‘ dialogue and reactions in various gameplay situations.
NPCs
Fixed freezing issues with Cliodhna and visual bugs related to Taliesin.
Enemies
Fixed bugs involving enemy teleportation, unnatural movements, and attack interactions.
Addressed problems where certain enemies stopped responding or acted unpredictably.
Quests
Fixed quest-specific issues, such as NPC behavior, Pawns following beyond their intended areas, and incorrect resurrection mechanics.
Gimmicks
Fixed bugs related to coffin appearances, ballistae clipping, and other environmental objects.
Equipment
Fixed cloak armor values and unnatural stretching of certain leg armors.
Display
Resolved display issues with water surfaces, shadows, tattoos, and UI elements like quest icons.
UI
Fixed text and preview video display issues across various menus and updated localization problems.
Sound
Fixed issues with Wakestone sound effects and riftstone audio volume.
Other
Fixed black screen issues after skipping cutscenes and gathering points floating in certain areas.
Fixed Photo Mode issue where the Arisen‘s body remained visible despite being turned off.
Steam-Specific Fixes
Fixed lag caused by enabling DLSS FRAME GENERATION after exiting the Pause Menu.
Previously, a major DD2 update 1.050 added new features and changes. Unfortunately, since the DD2 release, players have been experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Dragons Dogma 2 update 2.010 will address a few of these issues. The upcoming Dragons Dogma 2 update 2.020 will fix the remaining issues.
