Patch Summary

  • Universal system mechanics now feature faster cancels, invincibility tweaks, and reduced cooldowns.

  • Major Ki and Z mechanics adjusted, including faster Z Assists, new invincibility options, and Ki Gauge auto-fill for several effects.

System Mechanics Updates

Ki Charge

  • Cancels out faster.

  • Quicker access to Dragon Rush and Super Dash during charge.

Dragon Rush

  • Now deflects Ki Blasts if used after a Ki Charge.

Z Reflect

  • Blocking with perfect timing triggers screen freeze (except Videl).

  • Enables Vanish after successful trigger.

Vanish

  • Becomes invincible on start-up when performed after a Z Reflect.

Sparking Blast

  • Reduced blockstun for better defensive options.

High Jump

  • Increased aerial control distance during Sparking Blast (except Master Roshi).

Z Assist (A/B Types)

  • Reduced cooldown time before next use.

Z Change

  • Reduced cooldown for faster tag-ins.

Guard Cancel Change

  • Can now act mid-air if guarded from high position.

Limit-Breaking Power

  • Ki Gauge now fills automatically while active.

Boot Camp Mode

  • New items added for Caulifla.


Character Adjustments

Goku (Super Saiyan)

  • Light and Medium attacks: reduced delay and startup time.

  • Standing Heavy & Dragon Flash Fist: faster startup, adjusted timing and knockback.

  • Kamehameha / Super Kamehameha / Warp Kamehameha: increased blockstun, hitstop, and damage; Warp version now supports Super Dash cancels.

  • Z Assists (A/C): boosted blockstun and multi-hit reliability.


Vegeta (Super Saiyan)

  • Follow-ups and kicks rebalanced for smoother animation and better stun timing.

  • Big Bang Attack: increased stun duration.

  • Z Assists: faster startup, directional control added for A-Type.


Piccolo

  • Demon Slicer series refined with new ground bounce effects and startup buffs.

  • Z Assist (C-Type): faster activation during guard and improved defensive window.


Gohan (Teen)

  • Faster heavy attacks, increased projectile durability, and improved tracking on assists.

  • Hell Flash range expanded.


Yamcha

  • Wolf Fang Fist series boosted with damage, Ki gain, and combo potential.

  • Reverse Fist startup sped up.


Tien

  • Tri-Beam and Dodon Ray improvements for combo utility.

  • Farewell, Tien… can trigger Neo Tri-Beam under Limit Break.


Hit

  • Invincibility added across key moves.

  • Both characters receive faster startup, better Ki gain, and stronger Z Assists.

Broly (DBS)

  • Massive buffs to startup speed, blockstun, and damage scaling.

  • Headbutt and Gigantic Fury receive better stun and range.


Kefla

  • Faster startup, extended Super Combo stun, and blast blockstun increase.


Janemba

  • Savage Skewer now stronger on guard and hit.

  • Z Assists faster and cover more distance.


Master Roshi

  • Multiple attacks now deflect Ki Blasts.

  • Rising Phoenix and Turtle Drop have improved reaction speed.


Gogeta (SS4)

  • Stronger mid-air Ultimate Impact, faster startup, and reduced delay overall.


Android 21 (Lab Coat)

  • Ki Gauge gain increased across moves.

  • Attacks adjusted for more consistent resource building and assist synergy.

Previously, a major DBFZ update 1.30 new Android 21 (lab coat) DLC to the game. Unfortunately, players are still facing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Dragon Ball Fighterz patch 1.000.007 update is expected to fix these issues.
