Dissidia NT PS4 Update 1.33 Patch Notes (August 8)

Dissidia NT update 1.33 for PS4 is now rolling out for players. According to the official Dissidia NT 1.33 patch notes, the latest update brings various new gameplay changes and bug fixes. In addition, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT version 1.33 also includes stability and performance improvements.

Previously, a big update was released with some major changes and improvements. Unfortunately, since this update, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play. Today’s Dissidia Final Fantasy NT patch 1.33 is expected to fix all these issues. Check out more details below.

Tifa

Smashing Kick – air neutral bravery (buff)

  • startup decreased (-2f)

Dolphin Blow – HP1 (nerf)

  • tracking time reduced (-2f)
  • guard/step-cancel timing later (+5f)
  • all other actions cancel timing later (+10f)

Somersault – ground back bravery (nerf)

  • core damage decreased

Blizzard Spikes – ground dash neutral bravery (buff)

  • core damage increased

Blizzard Orb – air dash neutral bravery (nerf)

  • core damage decreased

Ramza

Graceful Swings and Golden Cross – ground/air neutral bravery (nerf)

  • (Shout versions) cancelling into itself on whiff timing later (-10f)

Enverate – HP1 (nerf)

  • damage decreased (224 -> 128) (counting with the debuff: 231 -> 132)

Noctis

Warp – unique EX skill (buff)

  • the time for the thrown sword to reach max distance is now the same for all charge levels (charge lv 1 and 2 now faster)

Warp critical – buff from attack-cancelling Warp (buff)

  • poise and interruption value of attack changed to be Vanguard-level

Armiger (buff)

  • HP threshold of activation increased (below 1500 HP -> below 1750 HP)
  • cooldown rate for EX skills increased

Triple Slice – ground neutral bravery (neutral change)

  • attack tempo decreased, opponent restrained longer
  • forward movement during the attack increased

Aerial Assault – air neutral bravery (neutral change)

  • attack tempo decreased, opponent restrained longer
  • forward movement during the attack increased
  • 1st input: vertical tracking increased (+2.5 degrees)

Cumbersome Swing – ground back bravery (buff)

  • 2nd input: startup decreased (-2f)

Dagger Toss (buff)

  • tracking before attack increased
  • position correction changed

There are also some small unspecified changes to his other bravery attacks as well (except for his air dash one)

Warp-strike – HP1 (buff)

  • during the animation after hitting, poise is active from the start

Steel Pirouette – HP3 (neutral change)

  • speed of thrown sword increased (warp occurs earlier)
  • range increase from charging decreased (1.6m per level -> 1m per level)
  • after warping, on whiff, the tracking is decreased

Unique System

Thievery

  • buff gained after every 2 successful Steals or every 1 successful Mug
  • duration: 25s
  • enhances the chosen HP attack for the duration
  • is removed when the HP attack hits
  • on hit, the HP attack will apply a debuff that stops the EX skill gauge from increasing (duration: 7.5s)

Ground Bravery Attacks

Rumble Rush – ground neutral bravery

  • tempo of attack increased
  • increased the forward movement during the attack
  • damage decreased (496 -> 480)
    • from: 96+96 > 128 > 176
    • to: 96+96 > 112 > 176

Booster 8 – ground forward bravery

  • 1st input: vertical tracking increased (+5 degrees)
  • 1st input: range decreased (-0.5m)
  • speed of the rush and tempo of the attack decreased
  • forward movement during the attack increased
  • damage decreased (480 -> 448)
    • from: 16+16+160 > 288
    • to: 64+32+144 > 208

Stellar Circle 5 – ground back bravery

  • damage decreased (432 -> 400)

Air Bravery Attacks

Swift Attack – air neutral bravery

  • tempo of attack increased
  • decreased the forward movement during the attack
  • changed the motion of the attack
  • damage decreased (496 -> 480)
    • from: 80+80 > 48+48+96 > 144
    • to: 96+96 > 112 > 176

Scoop Art – air forward bravery

  • speed of the rush and tempo of the attack decreased
  • 1st input: range decreased (-1m)
  • hitstun changed (lasts for a shorter time) and combo priority returned to normal regulation
  • damage decreased (480 -> 432)
    • from: 192 > 288
    • to: 192 > 240

Meo Twister – air back bravery

  • move changed
  • damage: 432 (96+96 > 240)

Dash Bravery Attacks

Steal – dash bravery

  • hitstun changed
  • every 2 hits applies the Thievery buff to Zidane

Mug – dash bravery during Trance

  • every 1 hit applies the Thievery buff to Zidane

HP Attacks

Free Energy – HP1

  • removed the Steal/Mug effects on hit
  • during the Thievery buff, becomes Free Energy +
    • can charge
    • full charge increases size
    • applies the Thievery debuff on the HP hit

Tidal Flame – HP2

  • changed the attack (and removed Dispelga effect on hit)
  • damage: 32*3 + HP = 96 + HP
  • a back input changes the attack a downwards strike
  • during the Thievery buff, becomes Tidal Flame +
    • increases horizontal range
    • applies the Thievery debuff on the HP hit

Shift Break – HP3

  • changed the attack (and removed the debuff on hit)
  • damage: 16*4+56 + HP = 120 + HP
  • during the Thievery buff, becomes Shift Break +
    • range increased
    • applies the Thievery debuff on the HP hit

Solution 9 – HP4

  • removed the Trance effect on hit
  • startup increased (+3f)
  • during the Thievery buff, becomes Solution 9 +
    • can charge
    • full charge increases size
    • applies the Thievery debuff on the HP hit

Unique EX Skill

Trance

  • added an activation animation

Bartz and Ace have gotten their 3rd forms and 5th weapons

— NT System Changes —

  • in the options menu, added an option to turn on/off the ability to see chat messages on the result screen during a loss
    • if turned off, then a symbol is displayed next to your name and you cannot see or send messages
  • using chat messages during the briefing screen and the result screen has been changed to work exactly like during a match (i.e. with the d-pad)
    • can set up an exclusive chat message set for this, so you do not need to waste slots on your normal set

— Bug Fixes —

Garland

  • Fixed an issue where opponents could fall out of Earthquake after being a wall splatted at close range.

Kam’lanaut

  • Fixed an issue where even if there was a significant distance to the opponent, the followup hits of Terrafication, Glacification, Ignition, and Vaporization still occurred.

Ramza

  • Fixed an issue where even if there was a significant distance to the opponent, the followup hits of Graceful Swingsand Golden Cross (Shout versions) still occurred.
