Disney Speedstorm update 1.40 is available to download on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles. According to the official Disney Speedstorm patch notes, the latest update resolves multiple UI issues, crashes, and display errors while also improving racer skills and track elements. Apart from this, Disney Speedstorm patch 1.40 (1.040) also includes stability and gameplay performance improvements.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
Crew Skills & Racing Fixes
- Crew Skill Names: Corrected mismatched skill bonus names for racers.
- Race Crash: Resolved a general crash issue occurring during races.
Vault Pass & Shop Fixes
- Vault Pass Tickets: Infinite tickets from Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out Vault Pass now correctly apply to the designated Vault.
- Vault Pass Crash: Fixed a crash when purchasing the Vault Pass without an active Season event.
- Shop Display Issues: Fixed the “Empty Store” message incorrectly appearing instead of available products.
- Daily Specials Display: Now correctly visible after updating the game.
- Shop Tag: The notification tag now disappears after claiming rewards.
- Season Pass Display: Resolved an issue where past season currency appeared in the current Season Pass purchase screen.
- Disgust Vault Pass Display: Adjusted Disgust’s position in the rewards screen for proper visibility.
Matchmaking & UI Fixes
- Matchmaking Cancel: Players can now properly cancel matchmaking after resuming the game from suspension.
- Game Menu Access: Fixed an issue allowing players to access the game menu while the U.S. opt-out screen was displayed.
Racer & Track Fixes
- Zuse Victory Animation: Fixed a bug where Zuse was cut off during his victory animation.
- Tron Recognizer Barrier: Sound effects now properly play when the barrier animation triggers.
- Tron Track Fireworks: Fireworks on The Portal track now have correct sound effects.
- Tron Racer Unique Skill: Fixed a bug where all Disney’s TRON: Legacy racers’ Unique Skills were stuck at level 1, even at max level.
- Nightmare Track Skybox: Resolved a visual issue where the skybox briefly displayed the wrong color in split-screen mode.
Supercharge Racers Update
The following racers can now receive supercharge upgrades:
