Disney Speedstorm update 1.27 details released for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles. According to the official Disney Speedstorm patch notes, the latest update Season 8 bringing new features, updated mini-games, a streamlined UI, and enhanced multiplayer progression. Apart from this, Disney Speedstorm patch 1.27 (1.027) also adds new Racers and voiceovers
Recently, a major Disney Speedstorm Season 3 “ʻOhana” update 1.04 introduced significant updates to customization, UI enhancements, new customization options, limited-time events, racer additions, voiceovers, and general fixes and improvements. Today’s Disney Speedstorm version 1.27(1.027.000) will address a few of these issues.

Race Start Mini-Game Update
New Features in Season 8
- Successful completion of the speedometer mini-game at race start will now grant a brief period of invulnerability in addition to a speed boost.
Regulated Multiplayer
Progression System Adjustment
- Progression system now requires 50% fewer races to earn weekly rewards.
- Rewards remain the same as Season 7.
UI Improvements
Racer Profile
- Simplified menu for easier access to Crew and customization options.
Racer Collection Filter
- New feature to sort Racers by Collection for easier access.
Skill Descriptions
- Updated Skill Description menu to highlight Common and Unique Skill activations.
Main Menu
- Updated to accommodate new features like Team Mode and easier access to key features:
- TEAM/SOLO MODE: Choose between single player or team in Ranked Race.
- PLAY: Queue for Ranked Race based on selected mode.
- RACERS: View current roster of Racers.
- MY RANK: Access Ranked Race progression and Leaderboards.
- MISSIONS: Includes Daily and Season Missions.
- GOLDEN PASS: View current season’s Golden Pass details.
- WORLD MAP: Includes Season Tour and Tournaments.
- SPECIAL EVENTS: Time Limited Events and Regulated Multiplayer.
- FRIENDLY RACE: Private Track and Local Freeplay.
- SHOP: In-game Shop.
- FRIENDS: Friends list and party options.
Season 8 Tournaments and Vault Passes
New Collections
- Aladdin and Mickey and Friends Collections will feature Tournaments and Vault Passes.

Racer Boost
New Racers Available
- Ariel, Ursula, EVE, and Fix-It Felix now selectable.
Racer Voiceover
New Voice Lines
- Joy, Sadness, Fear, and a mid-season Racer will receive voice lines.
- Sergeant Calhoun will receive voice lines at the start of Season 8.
General Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed various game crashes across all platforms.
- Updated first-time player onboarding experience.
