Disney Dreamlight Valley update 13.01(version 13.001) is rolling out on PS4, PS5, Switch and Xbox. According to the official DDV patch notes, the latest update brings The Lion King Realm with new quests, a rock-inspired Star Path, Loungefly collaboration items, and exciting Halloween events. Apart from this, Disney Dreamlight Valley version 13.001 also includes gameplay performance improvements.

The Lion King Realm Returns
- Timon introduces the concept of Hakuna Matata, guiding you through a series of relaxing tasks.
- Complete new quests to help Timon and Pumbaa with various challenges, including cataloging critters.
- After completing these tasks, they will join your Valley with unique Friendship quests and rewards.
The Night Show Star Path
- New rock music-inspired Star Path featuring neon lights, special effects, and pyrotechnic furniture.
- Earn rebellious outfits inspired by Disney Villains, Princesses, and rock culture.
- Shorter run time and fewer rewards, ending on November 13—with discounted Premium-tier costs.
Loungefly Collaboration
- Loungefly backpacks are available in the Valley, with designs accessible via The Night Show Star Path and Premium Shop.
- Use code DDV2024OOOOO to claim a free Mickey BOO! Loungefly Backpack (valid until November 20).
- Participate in the Haunted Holiday Sweepstakes for a chance to win physical Loungefly Halloween-themed bags.
Scrooge McDuck’s Store Updates
- New Realm and Villager-themed furniture rotates daily in Scrooge McDuck’s store.
- The Premium Shop introduces a new recommendation system for missed items and a limited-time Moonstone-pack offering seasonal cosmetic items.
Trick-or-Treat Event (October 23–31)
- Collect Candy Bowls in the Plaza for seasonal Candies, consumable or giftable to complete event duties.
- New Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl craftable furniture item is available with a recipe delivered to your mailbox.
- Free Evil Queen Costume available from the Premium Shop closer to Halloween.
Gameplay Improvements
- Controller Options: New edit mode controls and sprinting alternatives for improved gameplay.
- Wing Gliders: Replace surfing animations with fluttering wings when gliders are equipped.
- Duty & Recipe Tracking: Track duties and crafting recipes in the upper-left screen section.
- Photo Mode Update: Allow your Avatar to hold Royal Tools or other accessories during photos
