A new Dinkum update 0.8.1 is available to download on PC (Steam). According to the official Dinkum patch notes, the latest update addresses issues with the game’s save system, particularly save file corruption and problems with saving/loading games.
Recently, a Dinkum hotfix 3 was released with various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are facing several issues. Today’s Dinkum patch 0.8.1 will address a few of these errors.

Dinkum Update 0.8.1 Patch Notes – November 22, 2023
- Fixed a problem that prevented some games from saving and loading correctly
- Fixed a problem that prevented save slots from appearing correctly
- Decreased save and load time
- Increased probability of rain for some seasons
- Fixed the Festive Roo Plush changing to regular Roo Plush when picked up
- Festive Roo Plush will no longer appear in shops and is no longer orderable
