Diablo 4 Update 1.082 Patch Notes (PS5 version 1.082.000)

Blizzard has released a new Diablo 4 update 1.082 (2.2) on PS5. According to the official Diablo 4 1.082 patch notes, Belial rises once more in Diablo IV, unleashing chaos through new endgame encounters, Apparition Incursions, and powerful boss abilities. This season introduces Iris, a gold-collecting feline pet, alongside a revamped Season Journey and Reliquary system for greater player choice. From May 6 to June 3, a dark fantasy twist arrives with the limited-time Diablo IV x Berserk collaboration. Today’s D4 update 1.082 (version 1.082.000) also includes a long list of bug fixes and changes.

Season Journey Updates

New Pet Reward: Iris

  • Unlock Iris by completing the Season Journey.

  • Iris picks up gold and materials once added to your collection.

Smoldering Ashes Relocation

  • Now earned through the Season Journey instead of the linear Battle Pass track.

  • Objectives and rewards now have a visual display for easier tracking.


Belial’s Influence Grows

Defeat Belial, Lord of Lies

  • Engage in the ultimate showdown against Belial in the new endgame.

  • Belial’s loot pool includes double rewards when unlocking his Supreme form.

Apparition Incursions

  • Participate in new world events featuring Belial’s illusions.

  • Earn Unveiler’s Oath reputation by defeating Apparitions and Lair Bosses.

Wield Boss Powers

  • First-time kills of targeted bosses grant their unique powers.

  • Combine abilities for up to 48 unique boss power loadouts.

New Lair Bosses Added

  • Urivar and Harbinger of Hatred are now repeatable Lair Bosses for Expansion owners.

All-New Reliquary System

  • Choose and unlock rewards based on your journey and playstyle.

  • Collect individual items or the full collection with Favor currency.

Premium and Deluxe Battle Pass Bundles

  • Premium Bundle: Unlock all Premium Reliquaries and the Guise of the Deceiver set.

  • Deluxe Bundle: Includes Premium content plus Wings of the Deceiver and Orinocta pet.


Diablo IV x Berserk Collaboration

Dark Worlds Converge

  • Event runs May 6 – June 3.

  • Collect limited-time Berserk cosmetics including armor and weapons.

  • Themes include vengeance, betrayal, and demonic power.

Mark of Sacrifice Cosmetics

  • Limited-time premium cosmetics inspired by Berserk lore.

  • Showcase the dark fantasy aesthetic across all classes.

General Updates

  • Rune Words

    • Xan: Duration increased from 0.25 to 0.35 seconds. Overflow effect now increases duration instead of damage.

    • Tec: Damage reduced from 1000% to 700%.

Spiritborn

  • Aspect of Apprehension: Moved from Utility to Offensive category.

  • Skills:

    • Rushing Claw: Damage increased from 60% to 80%.

    • Sepazontec: Damage increased from 50-100% to 80-130%.

    • Sunbird’s Gorget: Damage increased from 150-300% to 200-400%. Now grants Storm Feathers the Jaguar Skill tag.

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed a bug where Sunbird’s Gorget’s description was inconsistent with similar effects.

  • Addressed a bug where Shroud of False Death incorrectly displayed Skill Point grants for Spiritborn Key Passives.

  • Addressed a bug where Aspect of Unyielding Hits did not interact properly with Sunbird’s Gorget and Eagle Primary Spirit Hall.

  • Addressed a bug where the Igni rune failed to cast at the target’s location.

  • Addressed a bug where the Xan rune’s effect could be consumed by Shout skills.

  • Addressed a bug where Holy Orbs persisted after phase transitions in the Harbinger of Hatred encounter.


Base Game Adjustments

  • Belial’s Return:

    • Andariel’s Flaming Skull:

      • Primary Power damage reduced from 1800% to 450%.

      • Modifier damage-over-time bonus reduced from 21-40% to 10.5-20%.

      • Removed burn damage requirement and added burn damage trigger.

    • Belial’s Eye Beams:

      • Primary Power damage reduced from 1750% to 438%.

      • Reduced eye beams from 6 to 5; duration lowered to 2 seconds.

    • Harbinger of Hatred’s Volley:

      • Primary Power damage reduced from 400% to 250%.

      • Vulnerable bonus made multiplicative; added 1-second cooldown.

    • Duriel’s Burrow: Dodge duration increased from 2 to 5 seconds.

    • Lilith:

      • Primary Power damage increased from 250% to 400%.

      • Blister cap: 1 per Elite, 2 per Boss. Blister damage reduced from 5.25-10% to 2.1-4%.


Class Updates
Barbarian

  • Skills:

    • Whirlwind: Damage increased from 32% to 52%.

    • Furious Whirlwind: Bleed damage increased from 40% to 120% weapon damage.

    • Double Swing: Fury cost reduced from 25 to 20; damage increased from 60% to 66%.

    • Hammer of the Ancients: Fury cost reduced from 35 to 30; damage increased from 90% to 98%.

    • Steel Grasp: Base damage increased from 35% to 80%. Charges gained increased from 1 to 2.

  • Legendary Aspects:

    • Executioner’s Aspect: Damage per 100 Strength reduced from 15% to 5% (capped at 200%).

Druid

  • Skills:

    • Storm Strike: Chain acquisition radius increased by 50%.

    • Ravens: Passive damage increased from 31% to 90%.

    • Poison Creeper: Active damage increased from 126% to 180%.

  • Passives:

    • Earthen Might: Now grants +50% Critical Strike damage during buff.

    • Nature’s Fury: Channeled skills periodically trigger effects.

Necromancer

  • Skills:

    • Blood Lance: Now always spreads Lanced effect to another enemy.

    • Blood Wave: Damage increased from 450% to 500%.

  • Legendary Aspects:

    • Aspect of Service and Sacrifice: Damage increased from 100-200% to 200-300%.

Rogue

  • Skills:

    • Death Trap: Cooldown increased from 50 to 60 seconds; cooldown reduction per kill reduced from 10 to 5 seconds.

  • Items:

    • Scoundrel’s Leathers: Grenade Skills no longer tagged as Core Skills.

Sorcerer

  • Skills:

    • Ice Shards: Projectiles spawn further behind the player for consistent close-range hits.

  • Passives:

    • Avalanche: Now reduces Frost Skill cost by 30% and increases damage by 60%.


New Items & Balance Changes

  • Sunbird’s Gorget (Unique Amulet):

    • Storm Feathers now Jaguar Skills. Firestorm damage scales with collected feathers.

  • Sanguivor, Blade of Zir (Necromancer):

    • Intelligence affix increased (214-242). Vampiric Curse souls now unleashed via Army of the Dead.

  • Hail of Verglas (Sorcerer): Max Life affix replaced with Cooldown Reduction.


Quality of Life & Progression

  • Experience: Reduced XP penalty between Levels 1-25.

  • Seasonal Powers: Magic/Rare upgrades cost 40%/20% less Spectral Ash.

  • Pit Tier Adjustments: Glyph upgrade odds improved for lower tiers. Monster Health scaling reduced.

  • Loot:

    • Magic/Rare items now drop more frequently early-game. Legendary drop rates reduced during leveling.

    • Unique items no longer have bonus Ancestral rates (now match Legendaries).


Bug Fixes (Highlights)

  • General:

    • Addressed projectile hitbox issues for Drowned enemies.

    • Fixed teleportation blocking in Infernal Hordes.

  • Barbarian:

    • Fixed Whirlwind tooltip scaling with weapon speed.

  • Druid:

    • Fixed Stone Burst overpower interaction.

  • Necromancer:

    • Fixed Bone Storm double-damage interaction with Lidless Wall.

  • Sorcerer:

    • Fixed Teleport Enchantment evade interaction with Frosty Strides.


UI/UX Improvements

  • Damage types renamed: Shadow DoT → Corruption, Cold DoT → Frostbite, Lightning DoT → Sparking.

  • Inventory auto-sort prioritizes rarity and Greater Affixes.

  • Party Finder automatically relists after difficulty changes.

Miscellaneous

  • Conduit Shrines temporarily disabled for rework.

  • Skills costing Health now fail if cost exceeds current Health (no longer reduce to 1 HP).

  • Cosmetic items unlockable across all classes

Previously, Diablo 4 patch 1.064 introduced new unique items and legendary aspects. Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.21, players have been experiencing error codes and bugs. Today’s D4 update 1.082 will address a few of these issues.
