Diablo 4 update 1.054 (patch 1.5.1) is available to download on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles. According to the official Diablo 4 version 1.054 patch notes, the latest update reintroduces the Spoils of Gold chest, improves Burning Aether rewards, and separates trade chat by World Tier. Apart from this, today’s Diablo 4 update 1.054 also includes numerous bug fixes improve accessibility, UI, gameplay, quests, and general stability.

Infernal Hordes Updates
Chest and Rewards
Spoils of Gold chest is now reusable.
Updated Sound Effects: Burning Aether pickup sound effects are now more prominent.
Infernal Offerings
Exalted Elite: Increased Burning Aether reward from +1 to +2.
Surging Elite: Increased Burning Aether reward from +1 to +2.
Unstoppable Elite: Increased Burning Aether reward from +1 to +2.
Burning Rain: End of wave Burning Aether reward increased from 1-3 to 3-9.
User Interface and User Experience
Trade Chat: Now separated by World Tier.
Patch Update Notification: Players will now be notified when a new patch is available.
Party Management: Party Leaders can promote other members as new leaders.
Character List: Newly created characters will now be placed at the top of the list.
Clan Name: Players can now change their Clan Name.
Miscellaneous Changes
All players will receive a cache of Legendary items with guaranteed Greater Affixes as compensation for issues in patch 1.5.0.
Alchemist Control (Rogue) adjustments:
Flurry Size affix moved to Alchemist Control.
Ranks of Trick Attacks affix removed from Alchemist Control.
Corpse Bows: Extra visual effects added to the projectile trail for easier tracking.

Read on Hover: Fixed a non-functional setting.
Screen Reader: Roman Numerals are now correctly announced as numbers instead of letters.

Fixed inaccuracies in character stats in town when certain items were equipped.
Infernal Compasses: Resolved tooltip with two instances of “Compass Affixes.”
Echo of Varshan: Name now correctly displayed instead of “Tormented Echo of Varshan.”
Fixed an error when comparing Ancestral Mythic Unique Items.
Blood Maiden: Resolved map icon overlap with the Accursed Ritual.
Infernal Offerings: Fixed inconsistent icons between the minimap and world map.
Treasure Goblins: No longer leave behind a portal indefinitely in Helltide.

Infernal Hordes Fixes:
Hellborne now spawn as intended when Hellfire Infernal Offering is active.
Stalking Devil Offering: Pedestal no longer reappears after interaction.
Withered Wanderer Offering: Resistance reduction now correctly applies.
Treasure Goblins: Fixed an issue where they could become unkillable, preventing wave progression.
Fixed local co-op issue where one player could collect Burning Aether after the other player died.
Quests and Dungeons
To The Edge of the Abyss Quest: Fixed respawn location issue during the Locran protection objective.
Seething Mountain Quest: Monsters no longer endlessly spawn.
The Rising Hells Quest: Fixed the persistence of the Istel Tornado encounter.
Sins of the Willing Quest: Resolved blocked progression if the player dies during the ritual.
Sirocco Caverns: Fixed the second Spider Caller monster spawn issue.
Stormbane’s Wrath: Now deals damage as intended.
Aspect of Inevitable Fate: Fixed appearance on Chest armor through Seasonal Questline reward.
General Fixes
Beast in the Ice: The Tormented Echo version no longer drops the same amount of Pincushioned Dolls as the normal version.
Death Trap and Concealment visual effects: Now properly visible to other players.
Firewall: Higher ranks now correctly display the blue flame effect.
Dungeon Whispers: Resolved missing appearances in the Scouring Sands zone.
Umbracrux: Prevented multiple Shade Totems from being spawned by swapping weapons.
Baneful Hearts: Fixed an issue where hearts could be lost when using Accursed Altars after Helltide ends.
Affix Rolls: Resolved issue preventing some affixes from rolling as Greater Affixes (e.g., Blood Orbs restore essence affix on Blood Artisan’s Cuirass).
World Tier Statue Interaction: Fixed players getting stuck when interacting and using a Town Portal at the same time.
Leave Dungeon Ability: Fixed functionality to allow leaving Cellars.
Echo of Lilith:
Fixed an issue preventing Stagger during the first phase.
Resolved issue where Echo of Lilith could stay in the air indefinitely after being Staggered immediately upon landing.
Fixed issue where progression to the second stage of the encounter would not occur in certain situations.
Summoned Lightning Spear: Fixed non-consumption of Crackling Energy stacks and incorrect damage bonus.

Previously, Diablo 4 patch 1.12 introduced new unique items and legendary aspects. Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.21, players are experiencing error codes and bugs. Today’s D4 update 1.054 will address a few of these issues.
