Destiny 2 Update 1.39 Patch Notes for PS4, PC & Xbox One

Destiny 2 update 1.39 is now rolling out for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the Destiny 2 1.39 patch notes, the new hotfix brings some minor bug fixes and gameplay changes. In addition, Destiny 2 patch 1.39 also contains stability and performance improvements.

Previously, Bungie released an update with various fixes and changes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game online. Today’s Destiny 2 version 1.39 update is expected to fix these issues. Check out more details below.

Destiny 2 update 1.39 Patch Notes

Solstice of Heroes: 100 Mini Bosses
Re-evaluated the objective requirements for unlocking the Majestic Solstice armor sets. Specifically, among these objectives, we believe the 100 Mini-Boss challenge has the most room for improvement. Here are the changes we’re making:
  • This objective is being scaled down from 100 Mini Bosses defeated to 50
  • Completing the final boss round contributes an additional 5 points of progress
If you’ve already earned points toward this objective, you’ll find your progress intact after the update.
Granted Emblems in Collections
Last week we distributed the Prismatic Inferno and Wolves Unleashed emblems to the Postmasters of eligible players in Destiny 2. Since then, we have worked to make players aware of a known issue where these emblems do not appear in the Collection. These emblems now correctly appear in the Emblem Collection and can be reclaimed by players who own them.
Solstice of Heroes
  • The Solstice armor step objective “defeat 100 minibosses in the EAZ” has been updated
  • Now requires only 50 minibosses
  • Completing the boss phase counts as 5 miniboss kills
Moments of Triumph
  • End date for Moments of Triumph has been extended to 9/17 (changed from 8/27)
  • Moments of Triumph T-shirt claim date has been extended to 9/17
  • Micro Mini Sparrow has a new, size-appropriate, Microdrive
  • The “Wolves Unleashed” and “Prismatic Inferno” emblems can now be reclaimed from Collections
