Deadside update 0.9.0.2 details released for PC (Steam) players. According to the official Deadside patch notes, the latest hotfix addressed helmets and armor related issues.
Since the last Deadside patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Deadside patch 0.9.0.2 will fix a few of these issues.

Deadside 0.9.0.2 Patch Notes – November 28, 2023
- Fixed a problem that caused helmets and armor to not provide the proper protection
- Fixed a bug that caused items to disappear when split into two stacks, while the inventory was completely full
- Weapon reload was causing input issues if the weapon has been picked up with empty hands before
