DBD update 2.71 is rolling out on PS4, PS5(6.500), PC, and Xbox One. According to the official DBD 2.71 patch notes, the latest update brings various bug fixes and improvements, including the consistent appearance of special cosmetics, the prevention of players using unintended characters or exploits, and the resolution of issues with bots, crashes, and lag spikes. Apart from this, DBD patch 2.71 (Version 6.500.000) also addressed an invisible collision zone in the maps.
Previously, DBD update 2.67 added a new Killer(The Knight) and new Survivors and new perks. Unfortunately, players are experiencing bugs and other issues with the game. Today’s Dead by Daylight version 2.71 will address a few of these issues.

DBD 2.71 Patch Notes for PS4 & PS5 (6.500.000) – January 24, 2023
- Fixed an issue where special cosmetics were not appearing in-game consistently.
- Addressed a bug where the killer player could join a lobby with an unintended character.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to play with more than 4 Perks.
- Addressed a bug where bots were getting stuck on thin air. Fixed an issue where force-quitting the game caused a crash.
- Resolved a bug where the splash screen caused a crash.
- Addressed a bug where customizations equipped in the store were not immediately visible to all party members.
- Fixed an issue where Survivor Bots were attempting to blind The Knight’s guards.
- Applied a tentative fix to a bug causing lag spikes for players with both a mouse and controller connected.
- Addressed an issue in the Shrine of Secrets where a Perk would display as “available” even after purchasing it.
- Fixed an issue where the menu was accessible while interacting with the EULA or Privacy Policy popup.
- Resolved a bug where the Alert Reward popup blocked inputs on the Menu.
- Fixed an issue where players were not gaining proper progress on the achievement “Milk ‘n’ Cookies.”
- Improved the responsiveness of the Wiggle Skill Check. Addressed an issue where Survivor hair was wonky during the Hook death animation.
- Resolved a bug where the Entity Spikes at the Exit Gates were not appearing as intended.
- Fixed an issue where the Dissolve SFX was not playing when Breakable Wall pieces disappeared.
