Dayz update 1.81 is rolling out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Dayz 1.81 patch notes, the latest update 1.28.4 fixes an issue where certain inventory operations could freeze the game on PS4 and Xbox One. Additionally, today’s Dayz version 1.81 also includes general stability and gameplay performance improvements.

Previously, a major Dayz update 1.27 added Frostline Expansion with new locations, interactive snow mechanics, and key gameplay improvements. Heat buffering, sound design, and inventory systems have been enhanced. Today’s Dayz version 1.81 will address a few of these issues.
