Dayz update 1.66 is available to download on PS4, PC(v1.25 Version 1.25.158334), and Xbox One. According to the official Dayz 1.66 patch notes, the latest update adds livonia asset interactions, music playback, and exploit fixes. Apart from this, today’s Dayz version 1.66 also includes noise system optimization and server logout time adjustment.
Previously, a major Dayz update 1.24 added a new Vikhr rifle and 30rd 9x39mm magazine for the Vikhr, ASVAL and VSS rifles. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing bugs with the game. Today’s Dayz patch 1.66 will address a few of these issues. The upcoming Dayz update 1.67 will fix the remaining issues.

FIXED
- Livonia-specific assets could not be interacted with.
- Ambient music on Livonia was not always correctly played during night-time.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to glitch through walls.
- Fixed an exploit to freeze other players.
- Fixed a server crash.
CHANGED
- Re-worked optimization to the noise system, infected will now hear through fewer objects than they did in 1.24.
SERVER FIXES

- TimeLogout is now changed to have a maximum upper limit of 5 minutes.
