Dayz update 1.65 is available to download on PS4, PC(v1.25 Version 1.25.158199), and Xbox One. According to the official Dayz 1.65 patch notes, the latest update adds Livonia terrain, VS-89 rifle, and crash reporter support. Apart from this, today’s Dayz version 1.65 also addresses aiming glitches, trap deployment issues, and server stability.
Previously, a major Dayz update 1.24 added a new Vikhr rifle and 30rd 9x39mm magazine for the Vikhr, ASVAL and VSS rifles. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing bugs with the game. Today’s Dayz patch 1.65 will address a few of these issues. The upcoming Dayz update 1.66 will fix the remaining issues.

Added:

- Weapon Aiming Glitch: Corrected issue where aiming with an open gesture wheel was possible.
- Container Repair: Fixed inability to repair sea chests and wooden crates with “disableContainerDamage” server setting enabled.
- Trap Deployment Issue: Traps can now be deployed without hindrance within a certain range of players.
- Internet Connectivity Impact: Removed weapon lift check interference caused by poor internet connection.
- Wall Exploits: Addressed multiple exploits allowing players to see through walls.

- Public Speaker System: Restored functionality of the public speaker system.

- Nested Container Access: Items within nested containers can no longer be accessed through quick bar or reload key.
- Shotgun Sound Sets: Sound sets for all shotgun shots have been reworked for improved audio experience.
- Crossbow and Grenade Launcher Sounds: Sound sets for crossbow and M79 grenade launcher shots have been revamped.
- Character Action Sounds: Adjusted the attenuation of character action sounds for better balance.
- Character Reconciliation: Improved synchronization between client and server for smoother gameplay.
- Game Credits Update: Updated game credits for accuracy.
- Weapon Collection Triggers: Reduced width of weapon collection triggers for more natural behavior.
- Promotional DLC Removal: Livonia DLC highlighting has been removed.
- Noise System Optimization: Optimized noise system to reduce server performance drops in AI-intensive scenarios.

- Replication Limiter Configuration: Added server config parameters for replication limiter settings.
- Server Stability: Fixed server crash related to loot point depletion.
