Dayz update 1.62 is rolling out on PS4, PC(v1.24), and Xbox One. According to the official Dayz 1.62 patch notes, the latest update resolves various exploits and game crashing issues. Apart from this, today’s Dayz version 1.62 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a major Dayz update 1.24 added a new Vikhr rifle and 30rd 9x39mm magazine for the Vikhr, ASVAL and VSS rifles. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing bugs with the game. Today’s Dayz patch 1.62 will address a few of these issues. The upcoming Dayz update 1.63 will fix the remaining issues.

- A loud sound distortion could appear upon entering the main menu
- Fixed a duplication exploit
- Fixed an exploit to look through walls
PC Fixes
- Fixed an exploit to look through walls
- Re-enabled a workaround in the keybindings to allow entering ADS by holding a key.
- Reverted an inconsistency that would allow Buldozer to display objects with a higher vertex count than would be displayed in-game.
