DAVE THE DIVER update 1.18 (version 1.018) is available to download on PS4, PC, Xbox and PS5. According to the official Dave the Diver 1.18 patch notes, the latest update resolves game freezes, fish movement errors, and achievement tracking in sea exploration. Apart from this, Dave the Diver version 1.18 (1.018.000) also addresses mission-related loading bugs and adds item descriptions and text fixes across the game.
Since the last major update, players have been experiencing multiple issues and bugs. Hopefully, today’s DAVE THE DIVER update 1.018 will address some of these issues and bugs. The upcoming Dave the Diver update 1.19 will fix the remaining issues.

Sea Exploration
- Game Freezing Issue: Fixed a bug that caused game freezes when entering the Sea People Village or transitioning between locations.
- Fish Movement: Resolved an issue where certain fish would swim through the terrain.
- Background Alignment: Adjusted background object placements to align better with the terrain.
Achievements
- Strange Fish Achievement: Fixed an issue preventing FishMon catches from counting towards the ‘Strange Fish’ achievement.
Other Fixes
- Text Corrections: Corrected several text errors.
- Interior Item Descriptions: Added missing descriptions for certain interior items.
