Dave The Diver July 6 Update Patch Notes

DAVE THE DIVER update 1.0.0.969 hotfix is rolling out on PC(Steam). According to the official DAVE THE DIVER patch notes, the latest update added new changes, improvements, and fixes.

Recently, a major DAVE THE DIVER update 1.0 added new chapters, areas, fish species, bosses, and mini-games. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s DAVE THE DIVER patch 1.0.0.969 will fix a few of these issues.

[System Improvements]

1) Sushi Restaurant

  • Added the ability to resend the same workers in the employee dispatch results window.

2) Missions

  • [Chapter 5] Added checkpoints to each floor of the [spoiler]stealth mission[/spoiler] so if you fail on a specific floor, you’ll be able to restart from there.
  • [Chapter 5] Adjusted the difficulty for certain parts of the [spoiler]stealth mission[/spoiler].

3) Sea People Village

  • Improved the seed shop so that identical seeds can now stack in a single slot.

  • Made it easier for you to buy and sell items in the Sea People Village shops. Now, you can use the up button to quickly purchase or sell items based on the number of Bei you currently have in your possession.

[Balancing]

1) Farm

  • Adjusted the minimum yield of white rice based on the soil nutrition. The higher the soil nutrient level, the greater the minimum harvest quantity of white rice.

2) Weapon Enhancement Parts

  • Improved drop rates for weapon enhancement materials from certain fish species.
[Bug Fixes]

1) Underwater Exploration

  • Fixed an issue where ammo from the Death Sniper Rifle was not penetrating as intended.
  • Fixed an issue where the Fish Tracker wasn’t responding when clicked
  • [Chapter 6] Sea People Village – Fixed an issue where Dave wasn’t able to move when using the mirror to travel to the [spoiler]Glacial Area[/spoiler].
  • Fixed an issue where the interaction area was limited when the Marbled Electric Ray is in a sleeping state.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes freeze when using an escape pod.
  • Fixed an issue where Dave would sometimes be unable to move when charging a melee weapon attack.
  • [Chapter 6] Fixed an issue where players were unable to damage [spoiler]Dunkleosteus[/spoiler] with the shovel.

2) Party

  • [Chapter 4] The following changes have been made for the issue where the [spoiler]Cucumber Party[/spoiler] starts before unlocking the [spoiler]Vegetable farm[/spoiler]:
    • If the party-related missions have not been fully completed, the missions will be canceled and can be accepted again at a later time.
    • For those that were unable to progress with any part of the mission, the party will end and you will have to wait until the next party.

3) Bosses

  • [Stormy Night #2] Fixed an issue with the [spoiler]Mantis Shrimp[/spoiler] boss fight where Dave was unable to leave the region after defeating the boss.

4) Sea People Village

  • Fixed an issue where the related popup did not appear when attempting to go to the depths while riding on the Beluga.

5) Sushi Shop

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to use a specific method to exchange employees while the restaurant is open.
    • However, adding employees to vacant positions is still possible.
  • [VIP Mission #3] Fixed an issue where the [spoiler]branch manager UI[/spoiler] was displayed incorrectly.

6) Other Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the To-do app where the missions that were cleared during Early Access were displayed incorrectly.
  • Adjusted and improved the BGM and sound volume.
  • Fixed various text errors
  • Fixed an issue where the spawning areas of certain fish were displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue where hiding the mini-map in the Sea People Village didn’t work when using a Switch Pro Controller.
