A new D4 update is rolling out on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. Accroding to the official D4 patch notes, the latest update contains various balancing changes, performance improvements, and gameplay stability fixes.
Previously, D4 patch 1.06 added minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players are still facing error codes and bugs. Today’s D4 patch will address a few of these issues.

Diablo 4 Update Patch Notes – June 23, 2023
Gameplay Fixes
- The Barbarian Unique weapons “Overkill”, “Hellhammer”, and “Ancient’s Oath” will no longer drop for Druid players.
Developer Note: We do want to forewarn that Druid players with these weapons already equipped will still be able to use them, but you will not be able to re-equip them if removed from your weapon slot. These uniques will no longer be available for Druid players to use moving forward.
Class Changes
Sorcerer
- Fixed an issue where the increased damage from the Sorcerer’s “Combustion” ability was not applying correctly.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the Sorcerer’s “Ice Shards” ability would cause excessive controller vibration.
- Further stability and improvements.
Diablo 4 Update 1.0.2f Patch Notes (Build 42192) – June 6, 2023
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from successfully progressing through the checkout flow for purchases in the Shop.
- Added stability fixes.
D4 Update 1.0.2e Changelog – June 5, 2023
Stability
- Fixed an issue where players using high-speed NVMe SSDs would experience game freezes upon start-up.
- Various issues that caused crashes have been fixed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where elite monster packs in some dungeons were spawning in higher frequency than expected.
- Fixed an issue where Astaroth would destroy the house before moving to it, which would prevent completion of the “As the World Burns” quest.
- Fixed an issue where Multiple Darcels would spawn during the “Stolen Artifice” quest which would block quest progression.

- Reduced the drop rate to 0 for the Elixir of Death Evasion recipe after it’s already learned.

- Items no longer inherit Junk status from gems socketed into them.
- Sorcerers can no longer teleport underground in Serpent’s Passage.

Class Specialization Changes
Sorcerer
- Flame Shield Enchantment: When Flame Shield is initially equipped into an Enchantment slot, it’s placed on full cooldown.
Rogue
- Inner Sight: After Inner Sight’s unlimited Energy expires, there will be a 4 second delay before another enemy becomes marked.
Item Changes
- Shout Skill Cooldown Reduction: This affix will no longer appear on items.
Miscellaneous Changes
- Monster health values have been increased in later World Tiers.
