Cyberpunk 2077 1.62 Patch Notes – April 11, 2023

CP2077 Patch 1.62 added the technology preview of Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode for high-end PCs. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, this new rendering mode is fully ray-traced and represents a major step forward in graphical fidelity. However, due to its experimental nature, players may experience some issues while using it. The Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode is currently supported only on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series (4070 Ti and up) graphics cards, and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (1080p, 30 fps) due to its high hardware requirements. For other ray-tracing-capable PC graphics cards with at least 8GB VRAM, the update includes an option to render path-traced screenshots in Photo Mode.

Patch 1.62 also includes additional features such as NVIDIA DLAA, an AI-based anti-aliasing mode, and support for Intel Xe Super Sampling 1.1, an upscaling technology. Improvements to the benchmark tool have also been implemented. A full list of changes can be found in the patch notes.
