Crime Boss: Rockay City update 1.023 (patch 11) is available to download on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Crime Boss 1.023 patch notes, the update introduces new gadgets, mission variants, and characters in Multiplayer, while also improving game progression, balancing gameplay, and addressing several bugs and technical issues. Apart from this, Crime Boss: Rockay City version 1.023.000 also includes various optimizations.
Recently, Crime Boss: Rockay City patch 1.021 added various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players have been experiencing various issues with the game. Today’s Crime Boss update 1.023 will address a few of these issues.

New Content
- New Gadgets Added:
- Proximity Mine
- Camera Spy
- Colorful Magazine
- New Weapon Combinations introduced.
- New Mission: “Defend business partner” added as a variant of Defend Warehouse.
- New Multiplayer Unlocks: Silver and Wiz are now available for Multiplayer mode.
Updates
- Progression Changes:
- Account and Campaign progression speeds slightly increased.
- Perks moved out of the progression system and are now purchasable directly in the “Boss customization” screen.
- New Tier III Perks added.
- First Win of the Day bonus introduced to boost progression in Multiplayer missions.
Gameplay Balance
- Perks: All tiers of perks are now accessible. Previously acquired perks grant one pending level each, allowing players to choose reward compensation.
- Grenade Mechanics: Explosion timer for grenades now starts after the grenade is released, not upon impact.
- Difficulty Adjustments: Hard and Extreme difficulty levels rebalanced for enhanced challenge.
- Bot Improvements:
- Enhanced bot AI.
- New ping options added for bot commands.
Technical Improvements
- DLSS and XeSS updated to newer versions.
Fixes
- Progression Safeguards: Multiple fail-safes implemented to prevent progress loss due to game crashes or power outages.
- Multiplayer Bots: Bots no longer take a hidden 4% mission cut.
- Campaign Boss Skins: Skins that previously lacked voice lines now have basic voices.
- Health Regeneration: Players and bots now regenerate health correctly, even after a bot switch before revive.
- Asset Goal Response: Assets like Piano and Penthouse now react immediately upon purchase.
- “Cagnali’s Fortress” Mission:
- Now shows accurate maximal reward.
- Increased campaign rewards based on mission progress and performance. Multiplayer rewards remain at maximum.
