Gameplay Updates

New Formations

  • Added 8 New Shotgun Formations:
    • Bunch Quads Open (Diamond Quads): Texas Tech, Western Michigan.
    • Deuce Twins Over: Buffalo, Toledo.
    • Slot F Wing: NC State, Liberty.
    • Split Pro Far: NC State, Liberty.
    • Split Pro Near: NC State.
    • Tight Y Off Flex: Florida.
    • Wing HB Wk Close: Indiana, Minnesota.
    • Wing Slot Over: Texas A&M, Kansas State.

AI Behavior & Logic Enhancements

  • Pursuit Angles: Tuning and logic improvements.
  • Differentiated Pursuit Behavior: Players with higher pursuit ratings show better performance compared to those with lower ratings.
  • Reduced Broken Tackles: Decreased frequency of broken tackles from trailing defenders.
  • AI QB Behavior:
    • Improved shot plays to increase lob throws.
    • Reduced aggressiveness based on awareness rating.
  • AI Offensive Line Behavior: Reduced illegal man downfield penalties during RPO plays.

General Fixes

  • Player Alignment: Fixed issue with players aligning too wide in certain formations on near or far hash.
  • Custom Playbooks:
    • Resolved inability to use 4-2-5 or 3-3-5 formations.
    • Corrected wrong naming of singleback formations.
  • Spike Ball in Online Modes: Fixed Turbo Tempo issue preventing spike ball action.
  • Speed Option Running Back: RB now follows QB longer.
  • Block Shedding for DBs: Improved ability to shed blocks on the perimeter.

  • Juke and Spin Moves: Adjusted thresholds for the most effective moves.
  • Press Animations: Made press animations more effective against the Takeoff Ability.
  • Pass Protection Mechanic: Updated to include RB only if on a block or block and release assignment.

Abilities Updates

  • Platinum Tier Abilities: Updated coloring for better distinction from Silver Abilities.
  • Juke and Spin Abilities: Rebalanced Gold and Platinum tiers, including abilities like 360 and Side Step.

  • Coach Limit: Fixed issue preventing more than 20 created coaches in online Dynasty League.

  • FCS Teams:
    • Sanctioned FCS SE, MW, and NW for using professional players; now properly rated.
