Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 update 1.006 is available to download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. According to the official Black Ops 2 update 1.06 patch notes, the latest update improves mid-match backfilling, lowers input latency on 120Hz+ displays, and prioritizes PS5 hosts in Zombies. In addition, the new COD BO2 patch 1.006 also fixes smoke grenade visual effects and adds a custom emblem visibility option.

Multiplayer
- Improved mid-match lobby backfilling for a smoother matchmaking experience.
- Added a new Multiplayer setting to show or hide other players’ custom emblems. Custom emblems remain enabled by default.
Performance
- Reduced input delay when using displays with refresh rates of 120Hz or higher.
Zombies
- Updated host selection to prioritize PS5 hosts, preventing matches from falling back to PS4 hosts.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed visual effects related to smoke grenades.
Known Issues
- The team is investigating reports of some accounts displaying incorrect Prestige levels.
