Homeless Citizens

  • Fixed homeless citizens not seeking a way out of homelessness.
  • Fixed homeless citizens having good household wealth.
  • Fixed newly spawned households being incorrectly counted as homeless.
  • Increased shelter cost in home-finding jobs.
  • Added MovingInHouseholdCount with a cap on new households when many are already seeking homes.

Subway & Transit Systems

  • Fixed Small Elevated Subway Station showing missing road connections and utilities on 6- or 8-lane roads.
  • Fixed crash when overriding buildings with lost renters.
  • Fixed road tunnels generating noise and air pollution above them.
  • Fixed buildings on pedestrian street roundabouts showing no pedestrian access notifications.

General Building & Placement Fixes

  • Fixed sick citizens getting stuck on pedestrian lanes.
  • Fixed missing sewage connection when placing Water Tower on combined pipes.
  • Fixed buildings overlapping with already created standalone surface areas.
  • Fixed city service buildings showing overlapping items warnings when placed on roundabout zone grids.
  • Fixed areas attached to buildings allowing placement on water.

Miscellaneous Improvements

  • Improved Passage Park coverage consistency.
  • Improved dog behavior to prevent citizens from taking dogs to work or school.
  • Adjusted construction costs, upkeep, and XP rewards for Subway Station 01, 02, and 03.
  • Removed Noise Pollution from Solar Power Station’s Additional Transformer Station upgrade.

UI Fixes & Improvements

Controller & Interface

  • Fixed bottom status bar inaccessibility with controllers in Map Tile Purchase mode.
  • Fixed slider skipping values in “assign vehicle” selection.
  • Fixed UI disappearing when selecting “Place Multiple” tool in the Vegetation tab with controllers.
  • Fixed parallel offset setting not working for road building with controllers.

General UI Enhancements

  • Improved info panels to display whether transport lines are active or disabled.
  • Updated Infoview panel pie charts to horizontal bar charts for better visibility.
  • Added mouse wheel scrolling for asset panel pages.

  • Added a time range selector for Most Popular Mods.
  • Spotlight images in Featured are now clickable.
  • Improved sorting text in the Library.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed scrolling during sync in cases where multiple progress bars were shown.
  • Fixed profile image from moving when following/unfollowing mods.

Known Issues

  • Homelessness may take time to clear up in cities with many homeless. Building new residential buildings can help.
  • Empty buildings, though not visible, still affect demand but can be occupied over time.

Recently, a Cities Skylines 2 ver. 1.0.5f1 introduced new content, including zoneable roundabouts and 26 new service building variations. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Cities Skylines 2 patch 1.1.8f1 will fix a few of these issues.
