Cities Skylines 2 Update 1.019 Patch Notes on PS5, PC and Xbox

Cities Skylines 2 update 1.019 is available to download on PC and Microsoft Store. According to the official Cities Skylines 2 version 1.019.000 patch notes, the latest update focuses on smarter citizen travel behavior, improved city simulation performance, expanded terrain editing tools, and a complete terrain visual overhaul. In addition, Cities Skylines 2 patch 1.019 also fixes road access issues, improves office supply sourcing, enhances shadows and texture quality, and resolves several mod loading, syncing, and save compatibility problems.

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue causing citizens to always visit the shop with the highest stock regardless of distance.
  • Reduced how often households evaluate moving homes, improving performance in larger cities.
  • Reduced instances of tourists, commuters, and vacationers walking along highway shoulders when entering or leaving the city.
  • Fixed citizens taking extremely long trips across the map.
  • Pathfinding limits are now customized for work, school, shopping, and leisure trips.
  • Citizens now respond appropriately when no valid route is available:
    • Move-outs leave the map automatically.
    • Workers abandon unavailable jobs.
    • Leisure activities are postponed until a new attempt is made.
  • Office goods can now be imported through outside connections when local supply is unavailable.
  • Adjusted legal U-turn costs to improve dedicated lane usage.
  • Lowered illegal U-turn costs to intended values.
  • Slightly reduced commercial demand.
  • Fixed buildings occasionally losing road access after leveling up.
  • Improved terraforming tool scaling based on brush size.
