Cities Skylines 2 update 1.015(1.21.1-f4) is available to download on PC and Microsoft Store. According to the official Cities Skylines 2 version 1.21.1-f4 patch notes, Cities now support roadside fence placement across most roads, improving visual customization and roadside design. New illuminated billboard props provide additional decorative options. In addition, Cities Skylines 2 patch 1.015 also introduces an Employment Info View, allowing players to analyze job demand and unemployment locations, helping improve workforce distribution and city planning.

Roadside Fences
New Feature

Fences can now be applied directly to roadsides.

Any fence type can be used on most road types.

Placement works similarly to roadside tree placement.
Placement Controls

Left-click: Adds the selected fence to the side of the road closest to the cursor or selection.

Right-click: Removes the fence from the road.
Direction Control

When the Fence placement tool is set to Upgrade, right-clicking flips the direction of the fence.

Direction flipping now works for all fences, including those not placed on roads.
Billboards
New Props

Two large billboard props are added as free content.

Billboards are self-illuminating, allowing visibility both day and night.

Available in the Parks and Plazas → Props tab.
Employment Info View
New Information Layer

Employment data is now visible in Info Views.
City Management Insights

Shows worker demand in commercial, industrial, and office zones.

Displays locations of unemployed residents in residential areas.

Recently, a Cities Skylines 2 ver. 1.0.5f1 introduced new content, including zoneable roundabouts and 26 new service building variations. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Cities Skylines patch 1.015 will fix a few of these issues.
