Call of Duty update 1.66 is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official COD update 1.66 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues with finishing moves, scoring in Free For All, and Zombies’ Vermin attacks. In addition, Warzone update 1.66 also resolves various game crashes and stability issues.
COD Version 1.66 Patch Notes – January 13, 2025
Global
- Fixed an issue where loading screens were causing instances of freezing or crashing.
- Fixed an issue with bullet trajectory on the AMR Mod 4.
- Fixed an issue in Resurgence where a player dying out of bounds would lose functionality of their field upgrades and killstreaks.
- Fixed an issue where models weren’t visible for ammo boxes, self revives, and throwing knives.
- Fixed an issue where players would not have a death icon when dying to Red Light Green Light.
Black Ops 6 update 1.66
- Fixes the loading screen crash issues.
- Fixed an issue where the “Roped In” and “Pinky Up” Finishing Moves did not kill enemies as intended.
Multiplayer
- Resolved a bug causing inaccurate score calculations in the Free For All scoreboard.
Zombies
- Addressed an issue where a Vermin enemy could attack twice in a single attack sequence.
Warzone 1.66
- Stability Fixes: Improved overall game stability to reduce crashes and disruptions.
- Performance Improvements: Enhanced gameplay performance for a smoother experience.
- Resolves game crashing issues.
