Call of Duty update 1.64 is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official COD update 1.64 patch notes, the latest update refines weapon motion, enhances headshot mechanics, and improves balance across multiple weapon classes. Multiplayer modes see adjusted score limits, while melee weapons gain faster swing speeds for smoother gameplay. In addition, Warzone update 1.64 also resolves various game crashing issues.

Black Ops 6 update 1.64
Weapons: Motion and Recoil Adjustments
- Visual Recoil: Reduced for all weapons, especially full-auto types.
- Turn Sway: Decreased for all weapons, notably with high-magnification optics.
- Gun Kick: Reduced for all high-magnification optics (excluding Sniper Rifles).
- Idle Sway: Lowered default sway for all weapons except Sniper Rifles.
- ADS Movement Stability: Reduced weapon motion penalties during movement and stance changes while aiming down sights.
- Hip Fire Stability: Removed hip fire deviation that caused crosshair bounce.
Aiming Idle Sway
- Standardized aiming sway delay at 2.2 seconds across all weapons.
- Sniper Rifles: Idle sway fully removed when aiming.
- Target Laser: Improves aiming sway delay to 2.9 seconds.

- Maximum damage range increased to 40.6m (from 16.5m).
- Headshot multiplier: 1.15 → 1.25.

- Headshot multiplier: 1.12 → 1.2.

- Slight reduction in max damage range; increased headshot multiplier to 1.25.

- Headshot multiplier: 1.1 → 1.27.

- Slight range increases across all categories.
- Headshot multiplier: 1.1 → 1.24.

- Adjusted Akimbo and Rapid Fire attachments to curb close-range dominance.

- CHF Barrel headshot multiplier: 1.35 → 1.4.

- Addressed an issue where the player’s weapon is missing during a benchmark test.

- Addressed an issue where players could get an AFK warning while actively running around the map.
- Addressed an issue where loading a save after obtaining the four incantations would prevent players from entering the Final Encounter.
- Addressed an issue where the light beams for obtaining the amulet would not be visible if a player disconnected and rejoined a match while in a squad.

- Addressed an issue where changing default attachments on a Blueprint Weapon would not apply in a match.

Buy Stations
- Buy Stations in Warzone Ranked Play are now static and match the unranked modes’ fixed locations.
- Upcoming updates will improve buy station layouts to address potential dead zones.
Field Upgrades
Munitions & Utility Box
- Both boxes now provide maximum ammunition for the player’s primary and secondary weapons only.
- No longer replenish other ammunition types.

- Krig C:
- Sprint to Fire: Increased (0.2s → 0.21s).
- Tactical Sprint to Fire: Increased (0.3s → 0.31s).
- View kick: Increased, with quicker pattern progression.
- Model L:
- CHF Barrel: Vertical penalty increased (50% → 55%), horizontal penalty increased (20% → 25%).
SMGs
- Saug:
- Akimbo Attachment: Hip spread penalty (12% → 70%), view kick penalty increased (15% → 20%).

- GPMG-7:
- CHF Barrel: Horizontal penalty increased (20% → 25%).

- Knife: Swing time improved by 7.5%.
- Baseball Bat: Swing time improved by 14%.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue preventing the Battle Royale Top 250 leaderboard from displaying.
- Fixed Grenadier Perk not slowing enemies hit by explosive damage.
- Addressed “Loading player stats” loop when launching Warzone.
Known Issues
Campaign
- Mission Progress Reset: Players may notice their current mission resets after the Nov 14 update; previously completed missions are not affected.
- PC MS Store Data Loss: Investigating issues causing campaign progress and settings changes to be lost on the PC Microsoft Store version.
Previously, a major Modern Warfare 3 patch 1.35 added new weapons, map changes and quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. Today’s Call of Duty version 1.64 will address a few of these issues.
