Call of Duty update 1.101 is available to download on PS5(version 1.101.000) and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Call of Duty 1.101 patch notes, the latest update separates Black Ops 6 from the main Call of Duty installation, requiring a fresh download for owners. Legacy Black Ops 6 files are automatically removed from the shared install, reducing storage usage and allowing the game to be launched independently. Apart from this, COD update 1.101 also includes stability fixes.

Installation Changes
- Black Ops 6 is no longer included in the main Call of Duty installation. COD BO6 update 1.02 is already available to download.
- Black Ops 6 is now available as a separate standalone download.
- Owners must redownload Black Ops 6 to access the game directly.
- Legacy files related to Black Ops 6 modes are automatically removed from the main Call of Duty installation.
- Automatic removal of legacy content helps recover storage space.
Previously, a major Call of Duty patch 1.087(BO7 Season 01) added major Multiplayer and Zombies content, a revamped Weekly Challenges system, four new maps, multiple weapons, new attachments, and the Deadeye Drone Scorestreak. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. Today’s Call of Duty version 1.101.000 will address a few of these issues.
