Call of Duty Update 1.069 Patch Notes (COD Version 1.069.000)

Call of Duty update 1.069 is rolling out on PS5(version 1.069.000) and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Call of Duty 1.069 patch notes, the latest Black Ops 6 season 2 update adds two multiplayer maps, TMNT-themed content, new weapons, perks, and gameplay balance changes. It includes directed and limited-time zombie modes, weapon buffs, spawn logic improvements, and UI fixes. Apart from this, COD update 1.069 for Warzone also adds combat records, trade station balancing, and new perk adjustments.

Warzone Updates 1.069

  1. Warzone Combat Records
    • Combat Records are now live, allowing players to track their performance.
  2. Weapon Trade Station Balancing
    • Trades now downgrade weapons by only one rarity tier (e.g., Legendary → Epic).
    • Trade interaction times have been significantly reduced (e.g., Legendary trades now take 1.75s instead of 5s).
    • Fire Sale trade offers have been improved.
  3. Loadout Drop Marker
    • Loadout Drop Markers no longer take priority when pinging near them.
  4. Stamina Bar
    • Added a Stamina Bar to show remaining tactical sprint. It’s off by default but can be enabled in settings, with options to display it near the squad widget or reticle.
  5. Lethal/Tactical Refill on Loadout Pickup
    • Matching lethal/tactical equipment will now refill when picking up a loadout instead of being dropped.
  6. Auto Pick-Up Lethal/Tactical Equipment
    • Players with empty lethal/tactical slots (marked by white dots on the UI) will now automatically pick up new equipment.
  7. Killcam Delay
    • Added a short delay (~0.5s) at the start of killcams to prevent accidental skips.
  8. Airspace Too Crowded Notification
    • The “Airspace Too Crowded” message now plays when equipping a killstreak based on where the player is looking.
  9. XP Text Adjustment
    • XP text has been repositioned for better readability.
  10. Disconnect Icon on Scoreboard
    • Added a disconnect icon to indicate when a teammate has left the game.
  11. Gulag Killfeed Icon
    • Added a distinct killfeed icon to differentiate between Gulag and field eliminations.
  12. Killfeed Visibility
    • Squad members can now see teammates’ eliminations both in and out of the Gulag.
  13. Favorite Loadout Priority
    • Favorited loadouts now appear at the top of the Loadout Crate.
  14. D-Pad Functionality in Winner Circle
    • Controller players can now use the D-pad to navigate the Winner Circle menu. Hold left on the D-pad to enable emotes.
  15. Improved Icon Fade Distance While ADS
    • Increased the distance at which icons fade out while aiming down sights for a clearer view.
  16. Recon Drone Damage Feedback
    • Players using the Recon Drone will now receive feedback when taking damage from enemies or environmental hazards.
  17. Loot Distribution of Perk Packs
    • Improved how Perk Packs overlap with other items when dropped on death.
  18. Enemy Advanced UAV VO
    • A voiceover line now plays when three enemy UAVs are active, signaling an Advanced UAV.
  19. Error Message for Deploying Boxes in Gas
    • Players attempting to deploy Munitions, Armor, or Utility Boxes over ~40 meters in the gas will now receive an error message.

  • Low Profile (Slot 1)
    • Increases movement speed while crouched and prone.
    • Kills won’t display death markers for enemies.
    • Grants a slight movement speed boost when downed.
    • Unlockable via the Clover Craze event on March 13th.

Adjustments

  • Mountaineer
    • A fix is coming shortly after Season 02 Reloaded. Stay tuned for updates.
  • Reactive Armor
    • Updated description: Armor regenerates up to 50% if no damage is taken for 5 seconds.
  • Alertness
    • The indicator now always appears at the edge of the screen, regardless of HUD settings.

Equipment Adjustments

  • Experimental Gas Grenade
    • Movement speed penalties reduced:
      • With tactical resistance: 5% (down from 25%).
      • Without tactical resistance: 15% (down from 50%).
    • Fixed a bug causing penalties to stack unintentionally.

Killstreaks Adjustments

  • Bunker Buster
    • Movement speed penalties reduced:
      • With tactical resistance: 5% (down from 25%).
      • Without tactical resistance: 15% (down from 50%).
  • UAV
    • Adjusted the distance for the “warning” callout to match the red box visual on the mini-map.

  • Sai (Melee)
    • Fast attack speed, very short range. Available via Armory Unlock and TMNT event.

New Attachments

  • Belt-Fed Event Reward
    • Adds a belt-fed magazine to LMGs (PU-21, XMG, GPMG-7, Feng 82) for sustained fire.

General Adjustments

  • Reduced idle sway, weapon bob, and turn sway on all MWII & MWIII weapons.
  • Ammo Attachments
    • Removed penalties from popular ammo types (e.g., High Velocity, Low Grain, High Grain, Round Nose, Mono).
  • Magazine Attachments
    • Removed movement speed penalties on extended magazines and reduced handling penalties.

Weapon-Specific Adjustments

  • Assault Rifles
    • AK-74, Cypher 091, Krig C, Model L, XM4: Adjusted damage ranges, multipliers, and handling.
  • SMGs
    • C9, Kompakt 92, PP-919: Adjusted damage ranges, multipliers, and bullet velocity.

Challenges

  1. Warzone Optics Master Calling Card
    • Now tracks reticle unlocks for all 33 optics. Players who completed it will receive the card upon logging in.
  2. Calling Card Updates
    • Some cards now display a “Black Ops 6 Required” tag for clarity.
  3. Warzone Weapon Camo – Intergalactic Challenge
    • Updated description to reference Concussions instead of Stun Grenades.
  4. Prestige 3 Challenge – Renamed & Adjusted
    • Renamed to “Streak Spender.” Now requires purchasing killstreaks from Buy Stations.

Previously, a major Call of Duty patch 1.064 added new UI, new weapons, map changes and quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. Today’s Call of Duty version 1.069 will address a few of these issues.
