Call of Duty Update 1.064 Patch Notes (COD 1.064)

Call of Duty update 1.064 (version 1.064.000) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Call of Duty 1.064 patch notes, the latest update refines weapon motion, enhances headshot mechanics, and improves balance across multiple weapon classes. Multiplayer modes see adjusted score limits, while melee weapons gain faster swing speeds for smoother gameplay. Apart from this, COD update 1.064 also includes crashing and stability fixes.

Weapons: Motion and Recoil Adjustments

  • Visual Recoil: Reduced for all weapons, especially full-auto types.
  • Turn Sway: Decreased for all weapons, notably with high-magnification optics.
  • Gun Kick: Reduced for all high-magnification optics (excluding Sniper Rifles).
  • Idle Sway: Lowered default sway for all weapons except Sniper Rifles.
  • ADS Movement Stability: Reduced weapon motion penalties during movement and stance changes while aiming down sights.
  • Hip Fire Stability: Removed hip fire deviation that caused crosshair bounce.

Aiming Idle Sway

  • Standardized aiming sway delay at2.2 secondsacross all weapons.
  • Sniper Rifles: Idle sway fully removed when aiming.
  • Target Laser: Improves aiming sway delay to2.9 seconds.

Assault Rifles

  • XM4:
    • Maximum damage range increased to40.6m(from 16.5m).
    • Headshot multiplier:1.15 → 1.25.
    • CHF Barrel headshot multiplier:1.25 → 1.3.

    • Adjusted damage ranges with maximum reduced to15.2m.
    • Headshot multiplier:1.12 → 1.2.
  • GPR 91:
    • Slight reduction in max damage range; increased headshot multiplier to1.25.

  • C9:
    • Max damage reduced to26; range increased to15.2m.
    • Headshot multiplier:1.1 → 1.27.
  • Kompakt 92:
    • Slight range increases across all categories.
    • Headshot multiplier:1.1 → 1.24.
  • Saug:
    • Improved damage ranges.
    • Adjusted Akimbo and Rapid Fire attachments to curb close-range dominance.

LMGs

  • PU-21:
    • Maximum damage increased to27.
    • CHF Barrel headshot multiplier:1.35 → 1.4.
  • GPMG-7:
    • Max and minimum damage increased.
    • Headshot multiplier:1.2 → 1.15.

Melee

  • Knife: Swing speed improved by7.5%.
  • Baseball Bat: Swing speed improved by14%.

  • Hacienda: Adjusted spawn logic.

  • Face Off:
    • Increased score limits across all sub-modes (e.g., Domination:150from100).
  • 10v10 Moshpit:
    • Kill Confirmed score limit increased to100.
  • Prop Hunt:
    • Prop movement speed increased (except for XL props).
    • Time limit reduced to3 minutes.

LTM

  • Nuketown Holiday: Fixed visual effects bug with green FX.

Global

  • Mantling Speed: Adjusted high mantling speed, which was slower than intended.
  • Stability: Added general stability fixes.
  • Performance: Improved gameplay performance.
  • Crash Fixes: Resolved issues causing game crashes.

Equipment

  • Reduced Frag Grenade inner radius damage to allow survival with Flak Jacket equipped.

UI

  • Addressed an issue that prevented teammates outside of a maximum range from displaying on the perimeter of the minimap.
  • Addressed an issue where previewing the “Gentleman’s Handshake” Finishing Move in the Bad Manners store bundle would show the wrong animation.

Graphics

  • Addressed an issue where the player’s weapon is missing during a benchmark test.

Stability

  • Various stability improvements.

ZOMBIES

Maps

  • Citadelle des Morts
    • Addressed an issue where players could get an AFK warning while actively running around the map.
    • Addressed an issue where loading a save after obtaining the four incantations would prevent players from entering the Final Encounter.
    • Addressed an issue where the light beams for obtaining the amulet would not be visible if a player disconnected and rejoined a match while in a squad.

Weapons

  • Addressed an issue where changing default attachments on a Blueprint Weapon would not apply in a match.

Stability

  • Various stability improvements.

Ranked Play

Buy Stations
  • Buy Stations in Warzone Ranked Play are now static and match the unranked modes’ fixed locations.
  • Upcoming updates will improve buy station layouts to address potential dead zones.

Field Upgrades

Munitions & Utility Box
  • Both boxes now provide maximum ammunition for the player’s primary and secondary weapons only.
  • No longer replenish other ammunition types.

    • CHF Barrel: Vertical view kick penalty reduced (50% → 45%).
  • Goblin Mk2:
    • CHF Barrel: Horizontal view kick penalty increased (20% → 25%).
  • GPR 91:
    • CHF Barrel: Vertical penalty increased (50% → 55%), horizontal penalty increased (20% → 25%).
  • Krig C:
    • Sprint to Fire: Increased (0.2s → 0.21s).
    • Tactical Sprint to Fire: Increased (0.3s → 0.31s).
    • View kick: Increased, with quicker pattern progression.
  • Model L:
    • CHF Barrel: Vertical penalty increased (50% → 55%), horizontal penalty increased (20% → 25%).
SMGs
  • Saug:
    • Akimbo Attachment: Hip spread penalty (12% → 70%), view kick penalty increased (15% → 20%).
LMGs
  • GPMG-7:
    • CHF Barrel: Horizontal penalty increased (20% → 25%).
  • XMG:
    • CHF Barrel: Vertical penalty increased (45% → 50%), horizontal penalty increased (20% → 25%).
Shotguns
  • Maelstrom:
    • Dragon’s Breath: Maximum damage (30 → 18), Medium Range 1 damage (25 → 14), range reduced (7.62m → 6.35m), Medium Range 2 damage (12 → 11), range reduced (19.68m → 10.16m).
Melee Weapons
  • Knife: Swing time improved by 7.5%.
  • Baseball Bat: Swing time improved by 14%.
  • Power Drill: Swing time improved by 9.5%.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue preventing the Battle Royale Top 250 leaderboard from displaying.
  • Fixed Grenadier Perk not slowing enemies hit by explosive damage.
  • Addressed “Loading player stats” loop when launching Warzone.

Known Issues

Campaign

  • Mission Progress Reset: Players may notice their current mission resets after the Nov 14 update; previously completed missions are not affected.
  • PC MS Store Data Loss: Investigating issues causing campaign progress and settings changes to be lost on the PC Microsoft Store version.

Previously, a major Call of Duty MW3 patch 1.057
added new UI, new weapons, map changes and quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. Today’s Call of Duty version 1.064 will address a few of these issues.
