Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 update 1.053 (version 1.053.000) is now rolling out on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official MW3 1.053 patch notes, the latest update brings stability and gameplay performance improvements. Apart from this, Call of Duty update 1.053 also resolves game crashing issues.

Bug Fixes
- Combat Knife Blueprint: Corrected the issue where Combat Knife Blueprints were not visible when equipped.
- Damage Consistency: Fixed inconsistent damage when hipfiring compared to aiming down sights (ADS).
- Resolved Game Crashes: Addressed various issues causing the game to crash.
- Network Connection: Implemented improvements for better network stability.
- Audio Issues: Fixed audio-related problems affecting gameplay.
Known Issues
- Bunker Busters: Temporarily disabled due to an ongoing investigation into a related issue.
COD MW3 Update 1.053 Predownload Time
- Predownload Stage: The game will begin preloading in two stages:
- 50% of the game will be preloaded by August 30, 2024, 10:00 AM UTC.
- 100% of the game will be preloaded by August 30, 2024, 1:00 PM UTC.
- Installation Ready: The game will become fully installable and ready to play by August 30, 2024, 4:00 PM UTC.
