Call of Duty MW3 Update 1.052 Patch Notes (Version 1.052.000)

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 update 1.052 (version 1.052.000) is now rolling out on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official MW3 1.052 patch notes, the latest update fixes game crashing and server connection issues. Apart from this, Call of Duty update 1.052 also includes stability improvements.

• Black Camo: Reverted to its intended appearance.

Weapons & Attachments

• Basilisk (MWII):
  • JAK Gunslinger Conversion Kit: Fixed an issue where firing ability was lost after canceling the reload animation.

Ranked Play

• Removed duplicate Infantry Vest entry from the Loadout UI.

Zombies

UIX Bug Fixes

• Lobby music now respects the Gameplay Music Volume in Audio Settings.
• Fixed an issue displaying an incorrect count of Crafting Schematics.

Gameplay

• Improved the probability of receiving rare Schematics in triangle puzzle Reward Rift:
  • Refined Aetherium Crystal: 65% chance
  • Flawless Aetherium Crystal: 35% chance
  • Epic Aether Tool: 65% chance
  • Legendary Aether Tool: 35% chance

Warzone

Gameplay

• C4 has been disabled in Ranked Play.

Weapons

• Assault Rifles:
  • BAL-27 JAK Deathmarch Conversion Kit: Disabled due to an ongoing issue.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue allowing players to duplicate items.
• Resolved a bug causing Big Game Bounty contracts to reward less cash than intended.
• Fixed an issue preventing a Redeploy Drone Beacon from leaving when placed on a moving platform.
• Fixed an issue preventing reloading when using the JAK Protean Conversion Kit.

• Addressed an issue causing incorrect ammo type to be displayed on the HUD while using the Torque 35 (new bow).
• Addressed game crashing issues.
• Added quality of life improvements.

Recently Fixed

• Fixed where inconsistent damage is dealt when hipfiring compared to ADS.
• Fixed a bug where Combat Knife Blueprints are not visible while equipped.

Known Issues

• [Multiplayer] Deployable Cover Field Upgrade disabled due to map exploits.
• [Zombies] JAK Thumper-656 Aftermarket Part cannot be used in MWZ.
• An issue causing the match ID in the lower left corner of the screen to appear larger than usual.

COD MW3 Update 1.052 Predownload Time

• Predownload Stage: The game will begin preloading in two stages:
  • 50% of the game will be preloaded by August 28, 2024, 10:00 AM UTC.
  • 100% of the game will be preloaded by August 28, 2024, 1:00 PM UTC.
• Installation Ready: The game will become fully installable and ready to play by August 28, 2024, 4:00 PM UTC.

Previously, a major Modern Warfare 3 patch 1.35 added new weapons, map changes and quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. Today’s Call of Duty version 1.052 will address a few of these issues.
