Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Update 1.14 Patch Notes (Season 2)

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare version 1.14 released on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official Call Of Duty Modern Warfare update 1.14 patch notes, the latest Season 2 update brings new maps, modes, an all-new Battle Pass, and more. Plus earn rewards to climb through the Season Two Ranks with more ribbons to earn, new challenges to complete, and new missions for both Multiplayer and Special Ops. Apart from this, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare patch 1.14 also includes stability and performance improvements.

Previously, a big Season 1 update was released with the new weapons, multiplayer maps, and more. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game. New

Battle on More Maps for Multiplayer

New battlegrounds arrive to Modern Warfare for classic Multiplayer, Ground War, and Gunfight game modes. Each map has its own distinct look and feel for a unique, tactical, and grounded gaming experience.

Rust – Standard Multiplayer and Gunfight

The classic map returns! A small map for fast-paced combat, Rust brings the battle to an oil yard in the middle of the desert. The site of the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign mission, “Endgame”, maybe just that for players who don’t learn the tricks to master this arid field of play. Utilize the environment for cover and grab the high ground and low ground to take advantage of your enemies.

Atlas Superstore – Standard Multiplayer 

Go shopping in Atlas Superstore, a new Multiplayer map that takes place in a supercenter warehouse that has been taken over by Al-Qatala forces. Battle in dense lanes of traffic, over fallen shelving, and throughout the shipping, receiving, and employee-only areas.

Zhokov Boneyard – Ground War (Launch Day)

A resting place for discarded airplane parts, Zhokov Boneyard is a Ground War map in Verdansk. Traipse through this airplane junk yard and avoid the turbulence of the enemy team while capturing your objectives.

Bazaar – Gunfight (Launch Day)

A tightly contained cross-section of the streets of Urzikstan is turned into a battleground in Bazaar. Experience the tension-filled Gunfight while navigating a new zone of combat. The randomized Gunfight loadouts all have a chance to shine as the maps symmetrical layout offers opportunities for big moments and epic plays.

Play New and Returning Game Modes: Gunfight Tournaments, Infected Ground War, and more.

Gunfight Tournaments (Launch Day)

Enter this single elimination 2v2 firefight and battle to earn rewards. 32 teams will enter, but only one can be crowned Gunfight Tournament champion. Gunfight Tournaments will be live for a limited time.

Call of Duty League Ruleset Playlist (Launch Day)

Fight like the pros in this Call of Duty League ruleset playlist. In this playlist, the settings and available weapons, maps, and modes have been altered, so you can battle like the best of ‘em.

Rank Up with New Trials & Missions

Grind through the ranks of Season Two by mastering challenges, missions, ribbons, and more to collect XP. Your Season One ribbons, and final rank will be memorialized, and your rank will be refreshed starting a new journey towards Officer Rank 155. Here’s some ways you can add to your XP and climb the ranks:

New Trials

Trials are solo ventures where players can earn a star ranking (up to three stars) which gives them XP. Four Trials will be available at Season Two launch:

Quad Race (Launch Day)

Hop on an ATV and finish the race as fast as possible. Master the course to get your best time and hopefully earn a three-star ranking and some sweet rewards.

Fire in the Hole (Launch Day)

A more explosive version of Cornhole has arrived. Practice your throwing skills with lethal equipment and toss as many Frags on target as possible within the time limit.

Price’s Alley (Launch Day)

A quick decision isn’t always a good decision. Sharpen your decision making and eliminate the enemy as you face waves of hostiles mixed with civilians.

Behind Enemy Lines (Launch Day)

Do your best in this live fire exercise. Find and eliminate all hostiles in the area of operations as quickly as possible.

New Missions

Earn rewards and XP by completing daily challenges and missions. Plus, new Operator missions to earn unique gear for your Operator are available through the Battle Pass. New in the Missions & Challenges tab in Barracks this Season are Special Ops missions. These can be activated in Barracks in the Missions tab for XP rewards earned during Co-Op play.

GENERAL FIXES:

  • Fix for the “Focused” challenge not tracking properly
  • Krovnik Farmland
    • Added back into rotation
    • Removed access to the second floor in a handful of centrally located houses (see the locations below marked in red)
  • Fixes for various exploits across Ground War maps
  • Fixed an issue where players could team kill Care Package owners and teammates capturing Care Packages
  • Fix for Platinum and Damascus camos sometimes having a blinding glare when in certain areas that contain sunlight
  • Fix for a rare bug that could prevent players from accessing the barracks, weapons, and/or Operators tabs after matches
  • Disabled the “Copy Loadout” feature

Field Upgrades:

  • Trophy System: Deploy time has been reduced by about half a second
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to get infinite Weapon Drops by cancelling Killstreaks. Killstreaks are no longer usable when the Weapon Drop grenade is equipped
  • Fixed a bug where objectives were not giving Field Upgrade progress

Perks – Rebalancing

  • Perk 1 Slots
    • Overkill: Switched places with Killchain and will now be in Perk 2
    • E.O.D.: Removed hacking ability (added to Spotter perk)
    • Double Time: Double the recharge rate of Tactical Sprint
    • Quick Fix: Reduced health regeneration delay – any kill will immediately start regeneration
  • Perk 2 Slots
    • Ghost: Remove Snapshot grenade immunity (moved to Battle Hardened)
    • Restock: Change the equipment recharge rate from 30 to 25 seconds
    • Killchain: Switched places with Overkill In Perk 1
    • Pointman: Increase the score gain for Scorestreaks across all modes
  • Perk 3 Slots
    • Tune Up: Increase Field Upgrade cost reduction
    • Spotter: Added hacking ability (from E.O.D.); we’re currently working on the ability to hack through walls.
    • Battle Hardened:
      • Added Snapshot grenade immunity (moved from Ghost)
      • Added Gas grenade resistance:
        • Cough is no longer played when a player enters gas
        • Reduced slowdown under gas effect
        • Reduced blur when under gas effect

Weapons:

  • Crossbow:
    • Fix for some kills not tracking properly when attempting to unlock the Crossbow
    • Fixed explosive Fury crossbow bolts to not kill Juggernauts in one hit
    • Very slight tuning to the reload speed. We’re still fine tuning this one, so more adjusting is in the works!
    • Fixed a bug where the Crossbow did not do any melee damage to Deployable Cover
  • SA87– Smoothed out recoil, increased damage
  • Increased RAM-7 extended mags ammo count from 45 to 50
  • *A note from the weapons team! The Solozero NVG Enhanced is supposed to see through smoke, but a rendering bug broke this one optic temporarily. We’ll have it fixed shortly!

Special Operations:

  • Operation Harbinger: Fixed an issue with a checkpoint that could cause players to spawn under the map

Keyboard and Mouse

  • Added Change to Loadout keybinds for Custom Loadouts 6 to 10, allowing players to quickly switch to any of their favorite Loadouts with the press of a button.
  • Fixed a visual issue where highlighting the usernames of multiple people in a lobby with the mouse cursor could lead to multiple Emblem/Player Card/Level UI elements appearing and overlapping each other.

Call of Duty League:

  • Removed Specialist restrictions

COD Caster

  • For Keyboard & Mouse Codcasters, it is now possible to bring up player Field Upgrades by pressing a key in the same way as they can with Killstreaks. This also shows the exact progress until each player unlocks their respective Field Upgrade.
  • Player health levels are displayed in the background of their portraits
  • Player numbers are now displayed in the minimap and are larger when viewed on the full map

PC

  • When using the Tracker perk, footprints are now visible even when the Bullet Impacts & Sprays option is disabled in the Graphics tab
  • Several fixes to prevent crashes and improve stability

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed crashing issues.
  • Addressed framerate drop and lag issues.
  • Added performance and stability improvements.
  • Added network improvements.
  • Added stuttering/lag issues.
  • Other under the hood fixes.
