Call of Duty Cold War update 1.40 details released for PS4, PS5 (v1.039), PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. According to the official Cold War 1.40 patch notes, the latest update contains some minor tweaks and changes. Additionally, today’s CoD CW update 1.40 (1.039.000) also includes performance improvements.
Previously, a major Cold War update 1.22 added free Multiplayer and Zombies contents to the game. Recently, a Cold War patch 1.34 was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing various issues with the game. Today’s Black Ops Cold War version 1.40 will fix a few of these issues.
