Borderlands 3 update 1.26 patch notes are now available for players on PS4 and Xbox One players. According to the official Borderlands 3 1.26 patch notes, the latest update added new features and addressed a wide variety of bugs, tweaks, and fixes. Apart from this, bl3 update 1.26 also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, a big update added balancing, gameplay changes and a long list of bug fixes. Unfortunately, many players are still facing issues while playing the game. Today’s bl3 version 1.26 will fix a few of these issues.

What is new in Borderlands 3 1.26?
Enjoy five weeks of mini-events and some surprise goodies to celebrate the anniversary of Borderlands 3!
Two years since launch and Borderlands 3 is still going strong, all thanks to you—the Borderlands community. There’s been plenty of BL3 mayhem made since our previous Year in Review check-in, including the launch of the Director’s Cut add-on (with its raid boss, story missions, behind-the-scenes content, and Vault Cards), the long-awaited Crossplay Update, and in-game additions like Crazy Earl’s Reroll Machine and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine. To celebrate the second anniversary of Borderlands 3 on September 13, 2021, we have five weeks of mini-events lined up to show our appreciation for your passion and support!
Starting August 12, the fan-favorite Loot the Universe series of mini-events that reward you with loads of Legendary loot for seeing (then shooting) the planetary sights will be back. Each week during Loot the Universe, Borderlands 3’s planets will take turns becoming a bastion of better drops, with specific types of Legendary loot having increased chances of dropping in one of that planet’s zones. And of course, you’ll get to keep all the bonus Legendary loot you find during these mini-events!
Just like last year, each planet’s affected zones have their own dedicated Legendary weapon type (Pistol, Shotgun, SMG, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or Heavy), and may also have increased chances for Legendary gear types (Class Mods, Artifacts, Shields, or Grenade Mods). It’ll be up to the community to discover which kinds of Legendary loot drops where, so mark your calendars:
- Activating Mayhem Made Mild, where players will only encounter Easy modifiers in Mayhem Mode until 8:59 AM PT on September 16
- Activating Show Me the Eridium, which will grant increased Eridium drops and Eridium item discounts until 8:59 AM PT on September 16.
The following changes were added previously.
NEW CONTENT:
- Added support for Borderlands 3’s forth campaign add-on: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck
- Increased the level cap by five levels to 65
GENERAL
- Added two more ammo SDU upgrades for pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, and grenades and two expansion SDU upgrades for the Lost Loot machine on Sanctuary III
- Addressed a reported concern where the “Refill Ammo” prompt would persist for clients in a multiplayer session
- Player class icons will now show with profile pictures for Steam and Epic Games Store PC cross-platform players
MAYHEM
- Players will now have a chance to redeem themselves in Fight For Your Life when Slayer is active and they have killed an enemy with melee
- Mayhem modifiers will no longer change when players join through matchmaking
- Added Mayhem damage scaling support to shields with Nova or Reflect behaviors
CHARACTER
- Amara’s Ties that Bind augment now only passes gun and melee damages to enemies
Certain types of damage were unintentionally being passed to other enemies caught in the Phasegrasp. This change prevents those interactions, but no other changes have been made to this skill.
- The Beastmaster’s Headcount passive skill no longer prevents Rakk Attack from gaining the proper number of charges when scoring critical hits
- The Beastmaster’s Dominance skill will continue to damage beast targets throughout the skill’s duration
- The Beastmaster’s St4ckbot class mod will no longer reset its damage stack increase when an enemy takes damage from a splash source or elemental damage done over time
- The Beastmaster’s Friend-Bot class mod now increases pet damage
- The Gunner’s Drowning in Brass passive skill now applies bonus damage to both of Iron Bear’s weapons, rather than just the left
- Added performance enhancements.
- Added various stability improvements.
- Fixed game some crashing.
- Added network improvements.
- Fixed server disconnection issues.
- Added fixes for stuttering/lag issues.
- Other under the hood fixes.
