Biomutant update 2.06 is now available to download on PS5, PS4, and Xbox. According to the official Biomutant patch notes, the latest update brings fixes for crashing, lag, and other changes. Apart from this, the Biomutant version 2.06 also includes performance improvements.
Previously, a big update a long list of fixes and changes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are facing a number of issues.

Biomutant 2.06 Patch Notes
- Fixed a bug where players were unable to switch Tribes if they were using an older save game
- Fixed a bug where the player could get stuck during the “Solar Mirror” quest
- “Ako’s Camp” objectives now update as expected for new save files
The following changes were made with the previous update.
Disabled fast travel when jumping from water. Also, addressed an issue where the “Unspeakable hand” Wung-Fu could cause NPCs to fall through water surfaces instead of drowning.
Fixed issue with rocket NPC explosion particle effects popping when being removed. Also, adjusted free-fall duration needed for Mounts to trigger hard landing.
Fixed attribute check labels in puzzles incorrectly being displayed as “Loot Chance” instead of “Intellect”.
Addressed child memories being auto-completed when opening photo mode. Addressed some doors opening after using photo mode.
Adjusted default camera pitch up a bit so it’s not positioned directly behind the player. The latest update also addressed an issue where resistance being reset after modifying appearance.
If you are experiencing any controller or keyboard issues on PC after patch 1.5:
- Close the game
2. Go here:

3. Delete the input.ini file
4. After that, you can start your game again.
