BF2042 update 1.58 (patch 8.0.1) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. According to the official BF2042 1.58 patch notes, the latest update brings backend changes and general gameplay improvements. Apart from this, today’s Battlefield 2042 patch 1.000.061 also improves readability of the Vehicle Deploy Screen.
BF2042 Update 1.58 Patch Notes – August 13, 2024
Additional Updates:
- Fixed a bug causing incorrect ribbon tier display during End of Round Shutdown.
- On Haven, the EBLC-Ram no longer submerges beneath water surfaces.
- MV-38 Condor transition times adjusted:
- Hover to flight: Reduced from 2 to 0.8 seconds
- Flight to hover: Decreased from 4 to 1.5 seconds
- Corrected M5A3 Weapon Charm labels to properly show as Universal instead of displaying title text.
- EMP Grenade now properly considers range when affecting Gadgets and Vehicles.
- Improved readability of vehicle types on the Vehicle Deploy Screen when all vehicles are in use.
Previously, a major BF2042 update 5.0 added a new map: Reclaimed, new weapons, new gadgets, new battle pass and much more. Unfortunately, since the last BF2042 patch 4.1, players are facing various disconnection and login issues with the game. Today’s Battlefield 2042 version 1.58 will fix a few of these issues.
