Battlefield 5 (BFV) update 1.23 is now available on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official Battlefield 5 1.23 patch notes, the new hotfix eliminates the most common cause of crashing across all platforms, alongside an additional and separate fix for Practice Range. Apart from this, the new Battlefield 5 version 1.23 also includes minor stability and performance improvements.
The game developers also confirmed that the download speed will drop significantly once the update hit 95%. The update will otherwise download at your usual speeds until you reach 95%. The rest of the update will download at around 100kb/s irrespective of your internet speed
In the event that you do encounter this, our best advice is to wait it out rather than attempting to restart the patching process as you won’t see it behave any differently a second time around.
Previously, an update was released which removed an issue related to the ‘Invisible Soldier’ and fixed a bug which players were facing when tanks are firing at infantry which would previously result in performance spikes.
