Battlefield 2042 update 1.66 (v8.4.0) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. General
- Fixed overlapping input prompts on the deploy screen.
AI
- AI soldiers will no longer die out of bounds when fighting in the shipwreck.
Vehicles
- UH-60 Black Hawk: Added an insertion sequence.
- Improved camera transitions when switching views in vehicle seats.
- Fixed a bug causing projectiles to despawn when fired from above the air vehicle max height.
Progression
- Resolved an issue preventing players from purchasing the accelerated event pass if all levels were completed before the purchase.
Previously, a major BF2042 update 5.0 added a new map: Reclaimed, new weapons, new gadgets, new battle pass and much more. Unfortunately, since the last BF2042 patch 4.1, players are facing various disconnection and login issues with the game. Today’s Battlefield 2042 version 1.66 will fix a few of these issues.
